After sighting in at 60 feet, I could easily cover 5 shots with a nickel kzfaq.infoUgkxQt2uORDRfFOVSrO4idv4B90ThT6EOnEL ! Truly a pleasure to shoot! Scope was easy to adjust for eye relief. Only problem the varmints must have seen it delivered lol!Update: So impressed with shot groups at 30 yards I purchased a Hammers 3×9 with adjustable Objective scope! Now a true nail driver!

I called Winchester back in early July 2019, they said the wildcat semi auto would be on the shelves near the end August . Called again today August 26th, the guy on the phone said they have been pushed back another month, so I say, what your telling Me is the wildcat will be out at the end of September? He said yes.... We will see.

Cause it is yet another 10/22 knockoff, but this one has a cleaning twist. Which means they have to basically use a 10/22 bolt (different recoil spring setup), which has to mate with a 10/22 barrel face. It would have to have a 10/22 style hammer to strike the 10/22 style bolt..... Yeah another veiled 10/22. A whole lotta plastic and a button takedown with a rotating 10/22 style charging handle. THEN stamp WINCHESTER on this one.

What a great plinker! I've shot 500+ rounds using Federal .22LR 36gr HP copper plated and did not have a single misfire. Light as a feather, stupid easy to clean and fun to fire. Best $219 I ever spent on a weapon.

When and checked this out in my local gun shop. The build quality is what you'd expect at this price point but what drove me away is the balance of the gun. It is very front end heavy and not balanced at all due to that massive gap on the stock. If anyone thinking of ordering one online, go and get a feel for it in a local shop before you do. Personally, I'm gonna go with ruger 10/22.

It appears they are announcing a new release that was only available to the select few that can purchase it and get interest generated in it. It makes me mad when products announced that will not be available for a year. I passed up a few good sales on the original Ruger 10/22 and appears I will need to take advantage of one soon. If dealers cannot get one, the average Joe like me will be waiting a year once they finally get them in a few at a time. Too bad as I was interested but not willing to deal with the BS of the hype years before actually available

Lynn Graybill Ditto. To keep the price down its all plastic. My 190 is a work of art by comparison. I would pay the extra money for wood. Its more stable for shooting. Not so sure a plastic wonder would be something to be proud of to hand down to the next generation.

Ruger does not have the market cornered, Marlin 60 T/Cr22, Savage and now Winchester to name a few. Marlin 60 out sells them all

I had an old 190 back in the day, was really nice and accurate- killed a ton of squirrels, I think grandpas Winchester 77 have it a run for its money tho. If Winchester reintroduced a modern take on the old 190 I'd be a buyer, hands down the most accurate 22 I've ever owned

theol31 I still have my 190. My first rifle I owned when I was nine years old. Still shoots like a dream. I don't think these modern plastic inaccurate (by comparison) wonders can hold a candle to it. It will out shoot them all.

190s are great even got a sears knock off the 3T got it non working for $25 put in a new firing pin tightened the barrel and it's been good to go ever since

Sure, but it has to be with a nice finish. Cheap wood looks far worse than polymer.

Reminds me of the Clinton AWB era Remington viper .22lr. Im sure it's a much better gun but I am less than excited about it. It seems more complex than it needs to be. Maybe if it was a takedown instead of the trigger group just dropping out the bottom. As far as I'm concerned until someone comes up with something actually innovative Ruger has the semi auto 22 market cornered.

Pass.. They don't offer it with a threaded barrel. It also looks like the majority of the trigger group when it pulls out is plastic.. They could have tossed in a front fiber optic sight.. Cool feature set, but at least Ruger does most of this; another good 10/22 clone to look at is the T/CR22 from Thompson Center..

Right now the T/Cr22 is the best 22lr you can purchase right out of the box. The T/C out shoots every other 22lr out of the box. Try one you will buy another.

I'll stick with my 10\22 I have the older versions with the metal trigger group. Personally I don't care for plastic guns. In my opinion guns are supposed to be made of metal. These new class of guns are mostly plastic frames with plastic stocks they feel like toys to me.

Gotta say, im thoroughly unimpressed. So its easy to clean. We all know that little fore end piece is just another loose part that will get lost somewhere. Giving this rifle the name "wildcat" commands attention as if it were a wildcat cartridge, which didnt appear to be by the looks of the video. Good marketing on winchesters part though.

It just seems to be just a new entry to the cheap .22 market. I mean you can't go wrong with a good $250 semi auto .22, in the same territory as a 10/22. But 10/22's have an incredible amount of aftermarket accessories so it would be cool to see some of those for this gun too.
