UF College of Journalism and Communications Doctoral student Eliana DuBosar, Associate Professor Jay Hmielowksi and Chair of Public Relations Myiah Hutchens looked at media use after U.S. presidential elections to test whether those who backed the winning candidate "bask in reflected glory"(BIRG) or if members of the losing party "cut off reflected failure" (CORF).
