Using blooddrinker myself for my edgy bloodknight build and its amazing. Small tging you may missed is that blooddrinker lifeleech apllies to all targets hit where as normal lifeleech has a 0.1 second cooldown which makes it only work on 1 target at a time. Cleaving through alot of target wirh serenity heals you for soooooo much it's insane

Something thats a bit glossed over is that its good on quick weapons(hatchet, rapier, etc). On slower weaps, its much worse and the damage loss is harder to swallow.

this was basically my rebuttal to comments on my previous video that the blooddrinker wasn't providing any value and the damage loss was too significant. you're entirely correct, it feels very bad "to me" with greataxe but I don't like it's slow lumbering playstyle so it's no difference to me personally. I probably could've gone a little more in depth, but I threw this together pretty quickly

I change gear constantly testing things but for that clip I'm pretty sure I was tumbler feetwraps, frigid dawn chest and legs w/ heals, helm heals ele aversion crit ret, mittens heals ele aversion leeching cyclone. amulet slash divine debilitate cleanse, ring blooddrinker w/ keen, earring healthy toast regenerating refreshing

Bro sorry im kinda new, can i use a ice gauntlet instead, and use that perk that make chilling wind extra good ? In opr or 3v3?

I'm not 100% sure I understand your question, but if you're asking if blooddrinker would still be good with an ice gauntlet build? yeah absolutely, I would just say that it'll feel weaker in 3v3 than it does in opr. once the fire ring kicks in and reduces healing, having the damage loss without that lifesteal kinda sucks, but not an issue in opr

try out void gauntlet & ice gauntlet with blooddrinker. I can't make my build guide for it yet that I've been waiting to do since I don't have magnetic gauntlets but with voracious blade you have over 100% lifesteal, your ice gauntlet abilities don't crit so running the gauntlets doesn't hurt your damage there. you have endless cooldowns and survivability

since the beginning of Blooddrinker's release. I've been waiting for that ring for a long time. and as far as I know, that -25 percent dmg comes from the base damage on the weapon, not overall. After trying and comparing, what actually happened was that the dmg was reduced by just under 10%. and only applies to the three types of weapons (exmpl: slash. thrust. strike). This problem can be overcome by adding additional empowerment from various skill effects. Unfortunately, as far as I know, this ring also reduces dmg from additional effects such as burn and poison, and from the inherent DMG of weapons that use elemental gems, and the reduction is very high. it can even be above 10%.

nah firestaff been 1 of my top 3 favorite weapons since launch, but I hate flamethrower even more than bow at this point haha

Only reason I don't use hatchet in PvP is cuz of hitbox... sick build though

It’s weird people don’t use this often. But I guess healers are in demand. But you can still run this with a healer in group. Just that healer will focus on others than you unless you are going take damage from random damage all over.

it didn't seem great when I first tried it, but that was in arenas with the healing reduction. now I don't want to play without it lul u can easily make up the dmg difference with perk selection.

@@PJsurely like Ankh. It lowers your life stealing which makes you rely on healers. But healers won’t give out 100% uptime if they getting harassed or focused.

lol just don't tell them brother, I don't tell people I'm wearing it in mutations bc I don't trust healers. I still rip aggro from the tank so what's the difference if I can stop us from wiping is the way I look at it

@@PJsurely I’m on heart of genesis farming often with all dps. I wear blooddrinker and survive very easily. Most times people die at last boss or some mobs they were fighting cause they have 0 leeching and are in light.

idk what to think about this, you kinda only show clips where lifesteal doesnt make much difference in the outcome. good to know that it only reduce your damages by 15 ich percent tho

I'd say rewatch the fights and just stare and the green numbers flashing next to my healthbar. even killing the pylon is over 1k healing. the bear fight I healed for more than my total hp throughout the course of the fight without hitting a potion. I intentionally picked these clips because there's actually a ton of lifesteal coming in.

I think I'm going to turn floating damage numbers back on. your response seems to be common in my blooddrinker related videos so maybe having all the healing easily visible would do a better job showcasing what I'm going for
