I appreciate the effort you took to take clips from the previous dev videos to make it clear exactly what expectations were and what AGS committed to before the past week of announcements. They've taken so many efforts to try to hide the game's history, whether by closing & deleting the official forums or re-branding the game with a different title, and I suspect they thought that switching to a video-only format would make it harder for people to point to their failures/lies. Videos like this are important so that potential players can make an informed decision about whether to invest their time & money in any game run by this studio.

I for one am sick and tired of them taking area's away from us! I don't want Cutlass Keys to be a lvl 65 zone!! and I don't want to accidentally walk into a Forced PVP Zone, I Don't PVP! I want it to stay the way It has always been, It's how I farm some of my season quests, and where i fish!! not to mention if you didn't buy the expansion, you now lose Cutlass keys completely! how is a lvl 60 going to go to a level 65 zone?

Heya Baggins! Good job as always! Imo they will change the camera view (Scott mentioned it - "camera and navigation") so that the camera view and navigation will be the same between consoles and PC. Which is ... not cool.

I think the biggest miss with the change from MMO to ARPG is, they can spin this as no longer a live service game and justify slower updates and slower content drops.

I’m still new to the game started a couple weeks ago and honestly only have experienced a few bugs which I just reload and fixed outside of that I still think the game has so much potential and going forward if we can make it to next year on the content coming out I have high hopes. A 10 player raid feels really good because here’s the thing it’s probably a test to see how it does and boom maybe we have 1,2,3 10 man raids or maybe they use mutations to make it more challenging i can get behind that. Console release is still very positive it opens up the player base more and hopefully ups the demand for content and qol I’m going to stay positive here and hope for the best

I stopped playing about a week before rise of the angry earth expansion but when your video pop up I thought maybe I will see something that excites me and make me get back into the game. That didn’t happen.

Before we drag Scott over the coals it may be good to remember that they are Contractors working for AG, and --> have to work within the client's directions. That includes them not releasing the 2025 Roadmap until after October. They might well have given a lot more information sooner, but couldn't. 5:02 money - sadly they can't 👉work completely pro bono like Baggins does....🙃 Gear-score increase - Great now I've got to replace everything again. That is a major change. So is making quests repeatable and single-player. 19:57 Honestly I recommend ponying-up for the Angry Earth expansion as it gives access to MOUNTS. Making the cost of travel no more than 20 no matter where, the addition of more shrines, and adding mounts, made the size of the map how spread-out things were a moot point. Also frankly the mounts are fun to use, and there's a mount-specific tune that plays when you do.

This year GS725, next year 800 to 825, subsequent year 900 -925GS and keep looping the same 🤣🤣🤣

The only thing i learned in this video is that new world is solo game and they came out with some more stuff for solos to do that leads to absolutely no progress or satisfaction. They just repeat the same questions and answers over and over. Same answers for every single question.

I enjoyed the leveling experience for the most part when I played but my issue was lack of varied endgame content and world population aswell as truthfully game breaking bugs

Maybe there are not roadmap because, there are no future if the lunch in console dont go well. It is sad because is still a great game with a great community.

After a year, I gave up on New World. I'm tired of being a pre-alpha tester for Amazon's next Lord of the Rings/Middle Earth MMO. I'll just wait for that to come out.

When they released the picture with all the content coming, I was of excited. I will come back for the 10 player raid to get the 725 gear. I just hope that the raid is exciting. Also the PvP zone could be very good for the game. Their originally 30 minute announcement was really disappointing tho.

I played the game in 2022 when it released till 2023 February/March. I've been following the game updates and news and this only makes me wonder, how could they fuck this up so bad. It's only going worse and worse.

I had so much faith on this game, this mmo has the best gathering, crafting mechanics. Something that I haven’t seen in a long time, also 3v3’s were awesome. Hopefully it does not die

I think its dumb to have players wait two years for mounts then they release it as a DLC for money grab

I’ve moved on from New World as my main game. Still play it on the side occasionally because the PvP combat is still unmatched. Let’s be real, this game/update isn’t for the current 7000 concurrent players, or roughly 30,000 monthly active users. They need new money. This is the only chance they have left to redeem their project and the game studio as a whole. Hoping they can get their heads out of their arses and actually deliver quality updates with real content from here forward. Doubt it. We’ll see though, I’m not holding my breath.

I believe they enunciate FTUI that way because the first-time user introduction involves Amazon spitting in their face. They like to do a bit of hazing.

new world was my first mmo and i have played more than 3000 hours in it.. and really loved it.. but after the lack of interest from the devs team and their recent handling of the game.. must admit i am taking a break now.. and see what the future brings

Just imagine if other professions worked like this - like farmers or medical professionals or people that work in transportation... like "just wait 6 months and well have food or help or something for you" then 6 months later this is all they have to show. this is just sad - was a good game, but they are dragging it through the mud with lies and laziness..
