Great advice. I wouldnt say don't do anything that you don't enjoy, but I would say avoid as max as you can. Focus on your fun.

Considering how much time we spend walking on roads, got me to thinking.. I wish we could use resources to upgrade the roads! They could make it a community effort and give us tiers of speed buffs dependent on the road level! Also make it decay overtime, so it needs repairs (I am thinking like Death Stranding here).

I love guides like yours, that show an alternative way to level rather than doing everything as fast as possible. It took me about a month to get to 60 but i have only just finished doing my trade skills and reaching 600gs. I feel its about the journey rather than the destination. I hate cutting trees, so to get around that, i chopped the fallen tress instead of jumping over them to get my skill up. With Brimstone nearly here, i feel more excited for the new recipes etc and crafting new gear/weapons. Making money can be as fast or slow as you want and i found i know the market better on our server, at level 60 than i ever did early on, so i can make money doing what i find fun to do.

I am coming over from ESO, and I love this Harvesting system, it's really awesome. The simple reason is you get experience and when you level high enough you get rewards. It makes it much more fun and rewarding to harvest in New World.

Love the video.... been totally following and watching a ton of your videos to prepare myself for jumping into New World! I have to admit, youre videos have gotten me to 30 in 2 days of completely casual and relaxed play!...... I even joined 3 other players tonight for a band in town and we pulled off a 4star Amazing performance!! We must have played like 15 songs or so...... SUPER FUN!!!!....... but I do wanna add this...... in all of your beginner videos you never mentioned that Azoth can be gained by purchasing a gathering tool of each type, that secures this buff! Now granted.... Im sure many OGs are doing just fine and dont have to worry about Azoth, but when you first get going and yer stuck outside a particular mountain, with not enough to repair, and now you cant get back safely because everything is killing you?...... Azoth is a life saver!! Now granted, of course, one can always jump back to the Inn of course..... but thats not always efficient!! After realizing that I could purchase the 3 tools with buffs on them that give me Azoth?!?!?....... holy crap!! Now if Im stuck I just go harvest a few rocks, trees, or herbs, and I can get back to town and get back to the grind SUPER EASY!!........ I just wanted to point this out cuz I think EVERY SINGLE new player should know this........ its like 1000 coin at most for all 3 tools....... very much WELL worth the investment..... even if the player NEVER goes to another level tool..... but these initial tools are SOOOOOO practical and efficient, your videos were the first thing I thought of when I learned I could purchase these :D Thank you again for everything you create for us newbs!........

Luck when it applies to harvesting is not like "luck" , in terms of gathering there are actual thresholds .. you cant forget those, the different luck in new world affects things differently.. the way you describe luck in terms of gathering will apply to loot luck, but not gather luck.. its a thing and real... For harvesting as an example +1,000 Points / 10.00% Ability to harvest Tier 2 & 3 rare fiber materials +1,100 Points / 11.0% Ability to harvest Flowers from Magical Plants +1,450 Points / 14.5% Ability to harvest Tier 4 rare fiber materials +1,800 Points / 18.0% Ability to harvest Tier 5 rare fiber materials If you don't meet those thresholds you can't access the loot bucket they are in

What would be nice is if the had Crafting or Gathering Route maps that you could buy in the AH. I like New World but the DEVS are so slow to fix Vanilla issues.

Hey All. An aside, has anyone been noticing a reduced drop rate on Tolvium with Ori farming? With my mining luck maxed, the last four days or so, I've been getting 1 Tolvium to every 6-7 Cinnabar.

The problem with the game is that farming could be more fun. Quests are the same type over and over or they would be fun. I really want to find fun things to do in the game but it's really hard once you get to level 30 or so. Expeditions are hard to find as the areas are completely dead.

I have a question. I am a new New World Player (5 hours playtime) and I wonder what are the big numbers on your equipment and weapons. So When you look at the information of an equipment you see a Big Number with a Symbol. Its not the how much defense you have but what is it?

I don't care about Metas but I want to enjoy it while I am discovering things...BUT I NEED GOLD! Haha!

I think the biggest thing I struggle with is that I like crafting, but I cannot play enough to stay ahead of the curve. When I craft things, no one ever wants to buy them and I struggle with selling raw materials cause I know I can use them later….

it took me like 2 weeks to get to 60, me and my guild were the first to old territory, but those were the early days when people crashes servers with ice gauntlets. so we quit.

Seeing your trade skills and reaching level 60 in 4 months , I'd say that most important is your free time/ time you spend in the game. I did more than that in about month or less. But I was spending A LOT of time in game approx 16-18 hours a day :P

GATHERING SKILLS: how PVE players gather materials, so the PVP boys can buy it with War money. This game should be on steam in " bot simulator" category.
