It is still the strongest healer build currently for small-scale PvP and that does not seem to be changing based on the current meta!

burdening smite does not power up 2nd attack so its not as good as it can be :( - awesome build though and video!

I don't know why it irks me so much when people say "auto attack" in this game. There is no auto attack in this game, friends! We don't call them auto attacks in Elden Ring or Dark Souls. Lights and Heavies. I don't know why this stands out to me so badly lol! Nice video though! I've been interested in trying out a paladin build since the expansion dropped. I don't build around bugs but I think most of this should still be good even after they're ironed out.

Mostly to protect against the detonates in the clumps you're fighting in. The slash shield ward / refreshing move is the big thing though

I personally don't like the design of warding bludgeoning since it only last 3 attacks. However in a clump situation, do you know if it stacks if everyone use it together at the same time?

The 50% portion of the Bludgeon ability is only like 20% of the reason why we use it. Best Friends is the real damage mitigation. And no, I haven't tested that. I just try to use it off cool down to keep Best Friends rolling

what do you think about role of invigorated and refreshing as perks on this build? :)

Debuffs get reapplied very easily even when you have invigorated on. Unless they put an ICD on plagued crits/strikes again it will continue to be on the weaker side (it's pretty good against exhaust/rend though). The raw survivability / tankiness from conditioning / enchanted ward is also just way too good!

Have you tried putting an amber gem in the flail or is that not worth it?

The Flail already scales 65% off of Focus. You can't slot a focus gem in there

I've been farming this shield for about 16 hours total and it still hasn't dropped. I almost wish I hadn't seen this video so I wouldn't know about it; I can't stop now until I have it...

@@ItsHeedless I did! Took about 4 more hours of grinding. That is correct, drops from Levy, and only Levy. He also drops Engineering Pants and the Spear looking LS mog. I got a few of each, they sold for some decent coin.

double check the deflecting frailty. I don’t think it is currently working at all. I don’t you anyone gets the lifesteal, and i don’t think the enemy gets debuffed by the 5%x5 either.

Plagued Crits is definitely way better since you are able to apply plagued by getting ability / light attack critical hits

I'm running heavy armor. It's a bit more selfish, but it allows me to run more front line. If I want to run front line in OPRs, do you think it's still more worth it to run light armor? Also, is Reinforced Vitality broken? It doesn't feel like a 25% upgrade to HP even with heavy armor.

I've been curious about Reinforced Vitality as well. I gain more health when I switch to the sword from the flail (like it actively rises then falls when switching). And when I actually have the flail on it's like 3 hp gained compared to switching to some other weapon.

@@Namyko Ok. So I played around with the perk a little more today. Activating it and disabling it. When the perk is active, switching weapons from Life Staff to Flail increases my health from 16,913 to 16,920. That's only a 7 HP increase. This is what initially lead me to believe the perk was broken. If I have 2,751 armor, then 7 HP is NO WHERE NEAR 25%. However, when I respec-ed and choose to leave the perk disabled, I noticed my health was actually a little bit less than before the respec. My health was sitting at 16,225. That's actually 25% less then it was before. So the perk works as intended; however, 690 HP doesn't really seem like a lot to me. Considering this build in particular, Baboon is using light armor, this means that the 25% is coming from a SIGNIFICANTLY lower armor rating which means you get even less than that.

Ughh just spent all my gold on this build but was told to go with refreshing, health, invigorated. Hopefully that will still be ok till I get morr gold lol

Double check the trading post to see if there's any of these pieces I recommended for cheap! It doesn't have to be 700 gear score, they are still pretty good despite being on the lower side.

Hello :) I have a question. I'm new to this game, I don't like dps, that's why I'm looking for a healer or a tank. Does the good paladin have heavy items? Or is this a bad idea and it's better to have light items with damage suppression? Sorry for my English, I speak Spanish hahaha.

Going heavy will reduce all damage and healing. It's best to stay in light for this build since healing benefits greatly off it. This is s really well rounded build. Try to mimic it.

@@juffe_h1666 they tickle with 3 peices of enchanted ward, I laugh. Even better I block when they bash, light attack, sweep, perforate. But tbh ur not wrong they will delete people not properly geared or knowledgeable enough on the fight... I just had to be devils advocate 🤣

im playing paladin but with no shield and in medium with comepletely full srmorm. one more number will take me in to heavy. i just like being tanky when bring shot at and running. i also tryed a shield but didnt see a big differenc in damage i guess because the attributes went down but but it wprks ok for me. i will keep this video tho because things might change when i get featherweaight and stuff

A game shanging altime depending on bugs ore just plain nerfs am so tierd to shange altime it feels you build somting and next week you´r on another build ending up with 20 builds that´s why i stay in my sns/gs for arena/opr and hammer/ga for wars not much have happen their if you don´t count in anc lifestealing nerf witch is minor. it´s clear this game is just like rockstar only fun for new players 3 times winter avent same lolololol this is what happens when you´r making a game with wrong engine and no end game no classes ore races (rift )died because of this all could do every thing? and in the end you had what raid and a big portal farm farm endles rotations.
