Sorry if this is a bit out there but this isn't what I expected from a tips and tricks video, especially for new players. Seems more of a state of mmo communities video.

Hey Bryan! Hope all is well! Just a bit of feedback on this video. I’m planning to return to New World soon and I saw this video hoping I might learn about what to do from the new player perspective. It seems most of this video covered MMOs as a genre and what players should expect before playing any MMO. Perhaps, I misinterpreted the title but it just wasn’t what I expected haha. Great video over all but I’m not sure that it’s hyper New World focused.

I returned a few weeks ago, after like 18 months. Most issues I had with the game has been fixed. I used to be a hardcore gamer, no matter the game, but i find I enjoy NW solo and casually. The game is still one of the most beautiful games I've played

I started last week and its damn fun, it's been a long time since I had so much fun in an mmo, i'm not rushing ... goint left, going right, pick up stuff on the way to somewhere, as a dad myself, it's nice to just relax and sink in an hour or 2 at the end of the day. Crafting and gathering is the most fun things, + i think it's done the best in here than any mmo i played.

Thanks for the video, this is not just a good example of a good gaming mindset it is also useful for someone like myself who is “casually “ returning to new world after a long break and enjoying the new experiences the game has to offer. I cannot and do not want to be anymore than casual so the end game raids etc I will likely not experience as I would most likely be “a carried” player. So I will remain a solo player exploring all new world has to off. I I think since I last played it’s a lot. There are so many improvements I think many of the “gogo” boys will miss including it’s beautiful scenery.

Loved the video! stay healthy!

Started roughly a week ago, game is great, went into it blindly, just watched a gameplay vid to see weapons and how everything looked. By far the life skills are the most fun for me, nice to relax and just cut down trees, run, around hunting animals or mining. Combat is fun, i wish there were more weapon types and more magic related things. Enemies have weapons/magic that we cant use ourselves which sucks. All in all, i'd definitely recommend giving the game a try, its got quite a few bugs, little glitchy here and there, but you tend to forget about those things very quick. I enjoy the game a lot, again, highly recommend giving it a try, not many good games out at the moment that catch my attention, so this is a great game to take up the spare time for me.

Can’t believe you mentioned the Why Files! This will sound like I’m making it up but the video I watched JUST before yours was the Why File crop circles episode. =D Some of the best content out there for sure! I originally played at launch for about a month - thinking about coming back so checking in to see what’s changed and how it’s improved. Thanks for the video!

can you make a video about the events? there's no info anywhere on where to get the quests or the level requirements or even if we need to have finished the main campaign.

Hey dude, could you do a Weapon breakdown for season 2? I'm just getting back to the game, I want to tank but it seems weapons have been changed somewhat, the Hatchet seems to not be a Main Tanking weapon anymore and I'm a bit confused. Good videos overall, thanks for the content.

Excellent video! I mostly played back before there were quests. Does the main quest line force you into dungeons? I enjoy questing but hate dungeons. I'd like to return for some new content.

I been playing since launch mostly casual but I have 1000 hours played. In PVP it seems like I’m always under powered compared to everyone else. I see some guys in 3v3 over and over and they are on just another level. It’s like the don’t miss attacks and I can’t hit attacks and their attack hit way harder than mine it seems like. Any advice?

Great points in this video! I'm a pretty new player, and just hit 60 and I have a question about companies in NW. How do I go about finding a company? What are some things I should look for in a company? What will be expected of me in a company? I am currently soloing and I want to get into tanking expeditions, but I am bit nervous to lead a PUG of something I haven't done before. Finally able to play my pre order game I never even got to install. 😆Thanks to Geforce Now I am able to play and love the game. Anyways. I would love to join the New World community but I have not been able to find some solid information on if there is even an active one. You missed to mention a couple of things about New World's dark side. Not only is the endgame is very content hollow, builds are imbalanced in both PvP and PvE and the client suffers from severe performance issues. There's also a rampant amount of aimbotting, speed hacking, speed boosting, scripting and client manipulation that still goes undetected and is still a major issue.

4:28 A hug problem with every MMO is NPCs are way to easy to defeat. Its an issue I notice every time on any MMO that I can hit a NPC 3/4 times before sometimes it hits me and even when it does hit me the damage is so minor it takes hordes of NPCs to give us a test of strength. Why do they do this? Are people that simple now and don't want a chance of death? So they want to feel like a God among thousands of other gods/players? I wish they would seriously consider a Hardcore server in the aspect of difficulty and now die once and for all.

You veered way off topic and never came back. According to the title, this video was supposed to be about things you should know before playing New World, as well as some tips and tricks. You were sorta on topic when talking about end game starts at level one, then you immediately contradict yourself by stating there are things you can do only at level 60. Talking about taking breaks if a game is not fun and toxicity aren't New World specific. You could have mentioned how there are no classes in New World, and that any character can use any armor or weapon type. You could have mentioned how there's no auto-targeting for attacks, etc. I've seen your other New World videos; you're a solid content creator. But this vid missed the mark.

You asked for feedback so here it is. You talk too much. Period. Full stop. And yes, of course, every video is full of talking, but it's usually accompanied by a decent ratio of content-to-words, whereas your ratio is more like words-to-content. Spend less time on filler and more time imparting fresh knowledge and you will be more useful. That is all.

I was coming here looking for actual beginner tips/tricks about the game, but instead most of the video was you telling us about positive negative people we will find. This is common sense no one came here to learn about how to deal with toxic players. Needed actual tips and tricks to help us progress in the game. You also keep talking about casual players vs more hardcore. These side monologues don't help what so ever. This video was honestly pointless.
