Liam, I think you should tweet Ryan and Rob with the name “The Stand of Foz” I think it’s a great name and a big thank you to Ben Foster for his tenure to get us in to league 2. I think we can all agree things could have been completely different had he not produced that amazing 96th minute penalty save against Notts County to give us the 3 points. On the stand itself I think it just shows how lucky Wrexham are to have Rob and Ryan as the owners of the club, they have gone over and beyond their mission statement when buying the club, they truly are one of a kind when it comes to football owners and thankfully right now it’s being repaid to them on the pitch. This weekend couldn’t have gone better for us, we got to rest our players and Crewe, Notts County and Swindon lost, Barrow & Mansfield games were also called off, whilst Stockport could only draw leaving us in 2nd place without playing a match. I don’t know about the luck of the Irish but there’s definitely the luck of the Welsh where Wrexham are concerned

Despite the capital expenditure loss the club will benefit from extra income from refreshments and merchandise sales plus extra income for the local community. If you havent already messaged Rob and Ryan you should and suggest Fozzy is invited to be present when opened.

Fabulous progress! Meanwhile, can you unearth news on the WST’s recent meeting which was announced by Barry Jones on FID? Of all the lingering issues affecting the New Kop, the biggest BY FAR is the release of the lease to Rob & Ryan. Nothing can start until that happens. How did the WST vote? By comparison, the other issues, like re-plumbing the sewers etc., can be done within a few weeks.

It also has to be considered that the additional 2000 fans won't just buy tickets but will also buy food, beverage and merch. Well that might not be enough to turn a profit on the new stand it certainly will mitigate the loss. Regardless, 2000 more supporters is going to give team and the town a boost.

They probably used black seats because: 1) they're cheaper, 2) that's all they had or have, and wanted to get it up ASAP.

Where are we going to get our steak pies and a pint from? I love the open air stands ( not when it's raining obviously) there has to be access to a bar or food, the toilets will be portoloos I imagin, can't wait
