It is concerning to see the legends line go on clearance every time. These are the figures I'm most excited about, so I pray it keeps going.

For me, that Legends wave is completely skippable. I'm more interested in getting figures from the attitude and ruthless aggression eras, so stuff that's earlier than that doesn't really interest me. I wish they would've gone the extra mile with the Ultimate Yokozuna tho and replaced one of the near identical head sculpts with one that has his beard from the late 90s, that way you could give him like a "multiple eras" kind of look since he pretty much always wore the same gear

To push back against the naysayers, I believe Mr. Ozer from Mattel (couldn't find the actual post) said the Ali SDCC offering had a lot larger run than previous exclusives. Their internal data showed Ali sold just as well as past offerings, one of the better sellers in fact.

Wow, I am all in on this Legends wave, even the Ali. I didn't pick up the Ultimate, as I don't like how the Ultimate figures look shirtless. The torso just bugs me. Target usually seems to run sales all the time, so getting a deal or even a clearance makes these even better.

The Legends line as a whole I feel suffers from being a us retail exclusive, and with Mattel's distribution as a whole being terrible it's just compounded. Toys r us in Canada (at least my store) gets them once in a while, but it's not often or in large quantiles. Wwe figures are hard to find in general outside of Ringside, so when the only way to buy these is to physically see them in Target they're losing out on adult collectors who are honestly the main market for characters put in the line to begin with.

Id love to get some good updated Stone Cold elites..Id also like to get some deeper cuts on HBK..He has lots of earlier looks id love to have..Like the black jacket and sweats from the Barber 💈 Shop incident..💯

This set is a really good from the looks of it. Im for sure trying to buy the whole wave. Im trying to pick up every Mohammad Ali figure, Ichiban Hogan is bad ass, Captain Lou is a must for me since he and a cm punk basic were my first wrestling figures, and the Sultan is awesome looking. I also need the Yoko for my Anoai collection.

I love love this Hogan, although I suspect it will not sell as well as other Hogan releases. But this wave is absolutely going to sell terribly and peg warm. Outside of the serious collectors and completionist, no one is going want these. A very weird selection by Mattel.

Legends are incapable of pegwarming as they’re always clearanced out after 3 months to make room for the next series. And every Legend figure is still on pegs when clearance time comes around. First couple shipments sell out quickly then the following ones linger for a bit. There’s 7 Triple H figs right now on the pegs at my Target.

Never Any clearance here in this part of Indiana..Some places still have Riho and for 22$ still on the shelf..It'll die there too. 😂 I'm definitely getting about 20 if they hit clearance for customizing 💯

As far as the Legends go, I love the Sultan, Japanese Hulk Hogan, and Captain Lou, I'm excited for them. The Ali would be a must for me if he was the WrestleMania I ref. I don't have Yokozuna in my collection so I'm excited for him. If there was an opportunity for this, like there is now, I would love to see a suited Bob Backlund BAF to put with the Sultan.

I want to get that Muhammad Ali, a favorite boxer of mine, that and this Ali has the Dark Brown/Red gloves. I also really want the Mattel Superstars Muhammad Ali as well. But I wonder how well he'll sell, has overlap with wrestling due to his inspirations and actual history with pro wrestling, but is it enough to get random people that most likely didn't even see his limited work in pro wrestling, let alone his prime boxing days to buy. I can see it selling better than the Ultimates two pack considering it'll be more easily available (In the US at least) and cheaper. Either way I'm getting him when he comes out!

If they made a Mike Tyson Ultimate & Elite or Superstar, that would absolutely sell much quicker than Muhammad Ali considering he's more fresh in people's eyes in Pro Wrestling history, more screen time than Ali had too, I would love for Mattel to get his signature on the dotted line for some figs! Imagine a Floyd Mayweather too, probably just a Mattel Creations Ultimate, he'd want a lot of money to license him I bet.

The Muhammad Ali figure could potentially be popular with McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse collectors. There was a Superman vs Ali comic book in the 70s that collectors might want to recreate in their display, since both lines are in the same scale.

Do you know if AEW will sell more Ring of honor action figures? Or if AEW will continue to sell Ring of honor action figures? I watched NXT mainly from 2014-2019. And Adam Cole was better in ROH I feel. And ROH rarely ever sold action figures. I wish in 2014-2019 I supported ROH. And watched ROH. And made ROH videos on KZfaq and bought the ROH ppv's. Instead of watching NXT. Go back & watch Ring of honor. ROH was alot better than WWE I feel.
