As someone who was able to see Je’von Evans perform live on the indies, I’m so proud of how far he’s come. He may have eaten the pin last night, but in my opinion, he looked like a billion dollars in that main event. Had a friend who’s a long time wrestling fan see him perform for the first time last night, and he was so impressed he said that Evans should have the North American Championship within a year, and be a main roster world champion in five. That really is a testament to how impressive the young man is to watch. And he’s only 20 years old! If he keeps himself healthy, he’s got a long career ahead of him, and I can’t wait to see what lays ahead in it.

I firmly think Priest got a mild concussion at some point early in the match. It explains why he and Seth felt out of sink, how Priest missed the kickout and why Drew came out like he did. They had to pivot to help the guy recover and finish the match.

Santino Marella was also at NXT Heatwave, but he was there to watch his daughter's match and lives in the Toronto area.

Then make the women's tag division brand exclusive and then have the other brand have a women's mid card division. Something like that would help keep each show feeling more unique.

Potentially, this has been booked to perfection. Priest can leave JD and face/lose to Gunther as a babyface, probably via Seth interference. Seth could easily cost CM Punk his match against Drew setting up a Punk/Rollins feud which I *really* want to see, then Drew as a face can move on and have some bangers with Gunther and Priest can spend the next few months fighting Judgement Day until his biography comes out.
