Beautiful yarn, thank you for sharing. The price will have to go down, on sale before I can afford to purchase. JoAnn fabrics has myboo yarn on sale for $6.49 a skein, but that is still high price for 98 yards. Some of the other yarn sites may have these yarns at a lower price, have not checked yet.

The colors of both yarns are beautiful. The stitch combination you used with the baby light really sets off the yarn nicely and I agree with your hook size recommendation. The my boo looks silky soft but I wouldn’t buy a 4 weight yarn skein with just 98 yards unless it was deeply discounted especially with the synthetic fiber blend. Love the colors 😊my daughters and I used to go to New York City to the Lion brand store to buy their yarn we like to see and feel yarn in person loved that store then they closed and their outlet closed miss those stores

Yes, lovely… Chainette Construction Yarns are said to be light & airy; I haven’t had a chance to try them yet though. They look really nice. The colorways of the Baby Soft Light and the MyBoo Yarns are very pretty. Thanks for sharing…❤

Wow! I love the Grape Juice 💜and the Matcha 💚the most! They would look great in a reversible baby blanket using the Jacob’s Ladder stitch on a double-ended crochet hook.💐

Hi Glenda. Helpful and thorough review, as always. I like how you lined up your samples next to each other. Both seem great for a variety of projects; but My Boo, is especially interesting to me. The texture looks wonderful, such lovely sheen, and the drape looks amazing. Although rather pricey for under 100 yds. Yay for sales! 💗

Hi Creative Grandma you are using the right kina of trap miter you need to use a trap miter that you will be if you would making a quilt a flexibly trap miter is what you should be using not the one you use know it is the right one. So have a good day and happy Memorial day.

I love the Baby Soft yarn. LOVE the pink, it was spot on. The rest of the colours could use more white in them, like the pink. I agree, they need a blue in that line. If you don't like the price, then l won't like it either, here in Canada.

I am so glad someone got their hands on these yarns and were able to do the wash and dry tests on them as well. Thank you so much Mrs. Glenda! As much as I love that MyBoo and the potential of it, I just can't get over the only 98 yards in the skein. I didn't realize how little yardage was actually in those skeins, that is really disappointing. The Baby Soft Light should have just been called Baby Soft DK. Lol I love the colors they have, and like you mentioned, I too hope they expand on their color palette with a blue soon. In the mean time, I am off to go pick up a few skeins of some purple Baby Soft Light (DK) 😂😂😂.

Happy Memorial Day Glenda I hope you are having a wonderful day! I cannot wait to see the two new Lion Brand Yarns aka the test yarn? I'm not sure which color why I like the best because they're all so beautiful I really like the lemonade and he orangeade grape juice is also a beautiful colorway! Matcha colorway is gorgeous! I love the greens. That would make a beautiful baby blanket you're not sure of if it's a boy or a girl! I think the colors that you would earn on the My Boo are really beautiful!

Thanks Glenda. U mentioned LB Ice Cream Cotton Blend. I am currently making spring poncho with it in the color Strawberry. Love it. I am going to try the My Boo. It looks luscious. Price is only 1 factor in choosing your yarn for a project. If u only use price as the barometer, u surely will be missing out.

You know yarn is alot like baking supplies. When you use the best you get the best results. I go for quality when make my project because it takes a lot of my time to things so I want the best. But! I watch for sales and only buy then.

Beautiful yarns! Am I the only one who thought of LB Mandala Ombre looking at the Baby Soft Light? I really like the idea of variegated in single color families. Like most of my fellow crocheters I have to be frugal in my yarn shopping and I’m concerned that at that price, they’re both set up for failure. edit: I forgot to mention how inspired I am by that stitch pattern used on the sample. I’m going to try that as a baby blanket. Ordering 4 skeins of the purple. Hope this will be enough.

I recently bought some Nuboo and Truboo (on sale at 30% off - yes! Worked out to be three balls for AU $10 ). Gorgeous silky yarn but quite splitty or strandy - I don't know the right word but you know what I mean. I wish it was spun as well as your Myboo. Thanks for the wash dry test - I would have handwashed it and now I don't have to. And you're right about the weight - it feels light on the ball but works up to be quite substantial with a beautiful drape.

Glenda ... its Ma cha it's Japanese green tea.❤ Love these baby colors. I wanted it till you said 8.99... I can't make a blanket and hat for that. My blankets are usually 1,200 yards . Good size blankets to last longer than a year. That skein could make a small Dolly blanket. ❤
