On Windows 10, holding the "Windows key" and hitting the period will bring up the emoji window, clicking on the symbol tab will bring up the copyright symbol as one of the choices.

I'm new at this, took a while but i finally figured out to check the box at the bottom "checked filled". And how does one delete a preset?

Thanks for this video! What are your thoughts on the Image Rights plugin for Lightroom? Also, If you don't register images with USOC, you may not have a solid case for copyright infringement in court.

You did a video on this last year and that reminded me then to update my copyright info which I did (so thanks for that reminder). I then added it to the import dialogue. When your video came out this year (again, thanks for the reminder) I looked back and my 2020 photos didn't have it in the metadata. I did add it. But that brings me to my question. When I looked, the preset was not listed in the import dialogue. Does upgrading LR perhaps zap it? I am certain I added it last year so either LR dropped it somehow or I accidentally took it out. Any thoughts? And again, thanks for the reminder.

Note this from Instagram regarding metadata inclusion: "Instagram does remove EXIF data from images. When an image is uploaded to any social network it is compressed and often changes format. Most, if not all, EXIF data is removed during this process so personal data will be stripped out during the upload." Not sure of FaceBook as I do no use it; I imagine that 500px, Flikr et al have their policies as well.

Changing the year 2020 -> 2021 and saving the preset as you do, does that also change the copyright year for photo’s (in the library) who have been labeled with this preset before?

Sorry, one more question. If I send a photo out to Photoshop or Other and it comes back as a TIF, does the metadata preset also get applied to it since it is not imported when coming back from PS?

So, if I have Copyright metadata added via Camera it appears that that info gets overwritten on import via LR correct?

Is it’s best to use your photography name or your real name your parents gave you for copyrights ©? Can you use your photography name or company for copy rights?

After following all of these instruction perfectly my name is the only thing that shows up on my images... Any Tips?

A small mistake...the “Country” field should say USA , not Erie (as in county).

You shouldn’t encourage use of (c) which I believe, strictly speaking isn’t an acceptable form. Also, you probably live in the county of Erie, not the country of Erie.

By the way, selling masks is not cute. Why make a fashion statement out of a miserable thing?
