Literally the world changed so much in just 20 years. I can’t believe it’s been 20 years it feels like 35 since the world changed so much so fast. To think that there was $600 cars back in 2000 and $200 Computers and only Flip-phones then only 2 decades past by and we get iPhone 11, $2,000 Computers now mostly for gaming. And literally cars that are $500,000 cars and the houses where so classic in the 2000’s just only $80,000 now they are mansions that are for $1,000,000. Literally the iPhone was invented in 2008. Gaming Computer’s exploded in 2017. We went from using Windows 98 to iPhone 11 real fast. The Internet was EXPLODING from 2004 and still is. The Internet didn’t really exist back in 1999/2000.

I was 9 years old, visiting my friend in South Carolina after having moved to Kansas. We opened up welch's sparkling juice and roller bladed around the neighborhood. Woke up the next day and played paintball then home to beat turok on the N64. The 90's and early 00's were the greatest. Just enough technology to be fun and exciting, but not enough to replace going outside with your friends, fishing, playing cops and robbers, riding bikes, raising hell and chasing girls. Sometimes I miss being a kid so much it hurts.

Nah it wasn’t that hard - I remember writing “1999” instead of 2000 a couple times, but it was pretty hard to forget you were in a new millennium. Everybody was super excited to finally be able to say we were in the “year 2000”. What tripped me up was back in 2010 when everybody suddenly dropped the “two thousand” and switched to “twenty” when saying the year out loud. It took me and my friends a couple years to get used to it (2012 for example - we’ll still say “two thousand twelve” sometimes instead of “twenty twelve” lol)
