Tearing it up . Great video B68 . Nothing like a good run on a single ski . I even miss the odd fall . Makes me pay attention quick smart .

Great video do you find slalom on a jetski works fine it doesn't pull the back end out at all what is your rope lenth. It's just I am thinking of getting one

Awesome skiing. Just wondering what the wake is like? Hard to tell! Is it much bigger than the malibu txi? Cheers

Soft pull and a pretty flat wake with some spray on short line. The Zero Off Malibu wake is good on short line but harder to ski behind unless you do everything right which makes it easier...

Awesome video! How fast can a FX HO get up too when pulling a skier? I'm thinking a driver, watcher, and skier. I think normally they will do right around 60ish.....does that drop down a lot when pulling?

You’re right about top speed and nowhere near that needed to pull a skier. The speedometer is not very accurate so we run about 6250 RPM’s skiing and closer to 7 grand barefooting. Top speed is about 7800 R’s. It’s a forgiving pull that drops down a little compared to a tournament ski boat…

I have a ski nautique but am always looking for a bump less wake! Do you think the wave runner is better than regular ski boats? If so what is the best wave runner to buy? Are there brackets so you can store skis on it?

The right ski boat is better. Any newer more powerful jet ski should be fine. The wave runner is a lot of fun and ski can lay in footwell in between sets hooyah

i have an old bass boat that i slalom off, youll be surprised a lot of wakes are tolerable

Yamaha has RPM based cruise assist speed control that works just fine and bumps up or down as needed. I usually tell the driver to start with 6250 RPM’s...

I hate to keep responding, but I think you are the only person I have found with expertise here. I'm trying to decide how important cruise assist it given it's harder to find on used skis. Is good slalom carving possible without cruise assist? Does the RPM based cruise assist dial up engine thrust when you add resistance in the cut? thx much

K Lauritzen Cruise assist is nice on a more powerful ski but not necessary. An older Polaris SL700 ski works ok at full throttle. The RPM based stuff doesn’t adjust to resistance like a Malibu TXI with zero off. As long as you have a driver that understands hand signals, you can’t go wrong.
