New Years Day 2022 PNW Snow Wheeling Oregon Cascades

MALL CRAWLER OFFROAD - Brandon Libra

The annual New Years Day trip in the Oregon Cascades. Usually there are a lot of different trucks, but with ice in the valley most bailed on towing. The snow wasn't great, but we still had a great time.
Wheeling with some new locals, Mall Crawler Offroad (Me), and Full Droop Offroad.
I'm working on doing some updated videos of the rigs on the channel. Stay tuned. I'm also working on some upgrades to the Jeep. The idea is to keep it mostly raw wheeling footage. Thanks for watching.

Lucky for all you guys there's plenty trees to winch off of. That's an insane hord of people. Must be a terrifying hell for the wild life.

We very rarely winch off trees. It's vehicle to vehicle. And this location is very deep into the mountains. (Hours of driving) Wildlife doesn't have food here. Wildlife is located much closer to human populations. Where habitat is much easier for them to feed. To be honest, I've never seen any wildlife when we are crawling in low range. There are no deer or cat tracks across the road at this location.

I was thinking you should make a video showing the trucks off, like what has been done to them and what might be coming up to get done. maybe a video on what you guys carry with you as far as parts and tools, maybe favorite beers lol

I jus did a 3.4 swap in my 2nd gen runner maybe it have enough power to do some snow runs lol but man you guys know how to build um so bad ass thanks for the entertainment I’m in wa can’t wait to do some wheeling soon

A crowd of city boys like that would drive me crazy. Just the freeway in snow. I'm a loner from the Alaskan bush. One winter I saw 3 people. Too crowded. We come out of the bush to the lodge sometimes to shoot the shit Then we go back into our solitude.

I'm in longview my dad has a built toyota and he used to go up the 3000 line around 20 years ago and hasn't been since 2005 when I was born and I recently fixed the truck so I wanna try and convince him to go up there this year and I've never heard of the hangover run could you tell me about it?

Thanks. The samurai's had i believe 29" and 31" tsl swampers. The white tundra was on a set of highway all terrains. Struggled a bit, but made it all the way in the ruts. Not very big tires at all, lol.

What’s the best performing tire you guys have used in these conditions?

Irok's on the lighter trucks, hot knifed tsl, something wide and not stiff on the sidewalls that can air down and have a good footprint. Really the snow here is always so different, so one tire might do better in certain conditions.
