More from the Dean Demas home movie collection. This about 4 minute film is from Christmas in 1967 and New Years Eve 1967-68. Featuring appearances by my family, my Uncle Al Demas's family, the Telekson family and the Cornell family. Also some shots from the Halepis Family christmas in Garfield Heights.

Nice vid because most are silent no audio and you introduce your family. Others leave us in mystery which gives a kind of empty feeling!

A nice video taking us back to a time when celebrating New Years Eve was still about family and it was just good, clean fun. I was only 14 months old when this video was made.

When a family that parties, plays, works, and go to churches, and goes on vacations together, stays together. By comparison my family didn't do all that but we stayed together. We were New Yorkers who were born in a foreign country but came to America legally in NYC during the Mad Men era.

Nice sharp, clear pictures. Was this 8 mm or 16 mm film? My guess is 16 mm, good quality. Good job.

16 mm was common. Had 16mm recording our trip to West Germany mid7-early8/1968. 68 was a radical yr.
