After being asked for it, I gave CBS Mornings all my raw footage from this day of diving and I'm disappointed a name drop for my work wasn't given. Great video, but I was kind of let down. I was so excited to share this to my family lol

@@pmwyy His name is Jake. If you click on his name ( DALLMYD) it takes you to his youtube channel. You can learn more about him in the "About" tab. He is extremely popular! And a super sweet and kind person. When he finds peoples belongings, and if he can find the owner, he always returns to them. But there is so much more than that. Really a great guy as are his diving buddies.

Hi Jake, it's crummy they didn't acknowledge you for sure. Just keep in mind, there are over 13.1M people out here that know what a kind and amazing person you are. If they used your footage and did not credit you they are no better than thieves IMO. Thank you for all that you do!

The DuMont Network, which was one of the first American TV companies, reportedly dumped thousands of kinescopes in one of the rivers off NYC when they went out of business in 1956. Thousands of hours of priceless early television, including the first show featuring an Asian-American star, Anna May Wong, were lost. A pity this diving tech wasn't easily available back then.

There's a lot of cooler items under rivers than just old bones. People have always used rivers as garbage dumps, so you can find some really cool historical artifacts that are technically even more rare than mammoth tusks. One man's trash becomes another's treasure.

Youd need an excavator of some sort. If there are bones down there, probably not, they would be underneath decades of trash and other sediment. Like good freakn luck.

Admiral Richard Byrd discovered a live one in the 1930's

For those who don't know, Byrd claimed to have discovered a green oasis in Antarctica, with an entrance leading to THE HOLLOW EARTH! [pounding drums] A great civilization dwells there, unconcerned with the affairs of the barbarians on the surface. Byrd was a respected (retired) military officer with a good career behind him. Nobody's sure why he did this. He did produce some photographs of a green area, but, you know, there are lots of green areas on Earth.
