This is rad, i've been working on a film for nearly 6 years now, it's a personal project, I started with a 5dmII, then the FS700 and now i've got the GH5 which more for shooting work stuff of the ocean to achieve stills and video with these rare moments, the GH5 wasn't to particularly shoot with for the film. I've been dreaming of this night shoot in NYC for over ten years so I googled GH5 NEW YORK CITY and this came up. I was thinking of hiring a red but i've now I've realised the camera is capable for what I want to shoot. This is really well done man, love the finished product and overall your eye. Were you shooting this in vlog?

Man I love your stuff, although clearly SK inspired, it has a unique feel to it, sound design is awesome, it draws a viewer into the video and creates atmosphere of "Whats next?" . Awesome shots and edit, not too much crazy transitions which can take over. Just a question: at 00:14 when you switch from the flower to the street food market, is that a transition made from moving the camera like that when shooting footage or something you made in post? Curious as I see it time to time and wonder if every shooter makes that in the beginning and in the end of their clips to have that opportunity. Hope you get a chance to reply and wish you the best! :D

Nice shots! but i don't like bold title and title effect, use thin fonts for this videos. You have some focus issues ( cup in stadium). but globally great video

would you recommend the 12-35mm if i already have the sigma 18-35mm + speedbooster? Tryna see if the smaller size, dual ibis, and AF is worth it. Would probably want to keep both lens but i'm afraid one of them would just sit on the shelf. I want to create vlogs with a splash of cinematics

One note about sound design: 2:29 - shoes don't squeak on concrete. That one drone shot where you added the helicopter sound definitely fooled me for a second, tho.

I can see your improvement over time and how your videos are getting better. I'm no expert, however, one thing I think would improve your content would be to tone down the sounds effects to just a bit lower in level. Otherwise, you nailed it on this New York Vid.
