Actually, my computer has pretty low specs, and with cc magic, the game runs pretty smoothly. Its a very small world actually that looks very big ! and most of the lots are rabit holes. so it runs very smoothly and it's very beautiful !

You spelled opinion as f-a-c-t. Haha, but seriously rabbitholes are useful especially in an open world. Rabbitholes technically exists also in Sims 1, 2 and 4 as a portal on or near the edge of active lots.

They made those loading screens everywhere to avoid making the whole world like a ghost town, like theres a big world but not crowded, and empty streets

That's maybe not the reason why Maxis stuck with loading screens. The Sims 4's prototype was a multiplayer mobile game named Sims Olympus. Many believe that they scrapped the online functionality due to SimCity 2013's poor sales as SimsCity players hated its initially always online playability. With a lot less time (and maybe some internal politics in EA's upper management), Maxis is forced to reuse Sims Olympus' resources to make another full-fledged Sims game. That is the likely reason why Sims 4 shipped with small sections of a semi-open world with loading screens popping up when entering lots. It isn't a bad thing (it's just like Sims 1 and 2) since they've improved on with how it's easy to travel to other main worlds/neighborhoods without losing relationships unlike the previous games in the series. As of having less Sims in lots and streets, you're somewhat right. Fortunately, Sims 3 players have a lot of workarounds like the NRAAS, mods and maybe some ini file edits to assure a more lively neighborhood. Also, computers are getting faster and better as time passes, we're assured of a smoother gameplay as well. Knowing your computer's specs thoroughly makes a lot of difference. Unlike EA's sprawling worlds, Boroughsburg is much more (realistically) compact. The routing is flawless (I haven't seen stuck Sims or cars as of now) and the lots are placed strategically. I haven't yet completed it but I've added functional houses, businesses and Sims and I can tell there has been a lot more activity on the streets and in community lots unlike Sunset Valley. You know, with all these battle between generations, EA is the only real winner. They got our money... we got their games... we might claim that one game is much better... BUT we enjoy our preferred games in our personal ways.

@@theoneandmany1990 By the end of The Sims 3's life cycle all non-career rabbit holes were open. Heck, World Adventures already added cash registers to have open stores (grocery, bookstore, etc) instead of rabbit holes.

The Sims 3 has always had backdrops. That's why most of the worlds don't look like islands.
