The police response was embarrassing and ridiculous. She was given multiple lawful directives, all of which she rudely disregarded, but was not physically restrained and cuffed as any other offender would have been.

You need to see all the footage. The officer apologizes to this corrupt DA and only gives her a speeding ticket. She should have been cuffed and taken to the police station for booking after trying to flee. She's friends with the corrupt police chief (big surprise) and would have gotten away with everything if the body cam footage hadn't gone viral.

No. He deserves a disciplinary slip for not taking immediate action against a law breaker. Not only did he beg and plead with her for 20 minutes, but he totally disregarded the several other infractions she committed during the course of this “crime” - fleeing, eluding, failure to comply with officers lawful commands, failure to ID immediately when requested, and obstruction (by her calling his boss asking him to stop his officer from performing his duty).
