The opening number for The Lion King has always left me in tears. After my mom passed away, it hits even harder as that was her favorite musical. The first time I saw it after she moved on, I was a complete wreck. I know to never wear make up to that show for that reason. 😂 That laundry was a steal! Love getting to see your fun times in NYC. 😊

The velvet references -- loved them! 😂 Lion King is one of my top 3 favorite musicals. Circle of Life gets me every time. The lion costumes and puppeteering are amazing. I absolutely love The Lion King!

As a New Yorker I never go to Times Square for good pizza you have to go to Brooklyn and go to Cuts and Slices you definitely have to get out of Manhattan to get some good food

Love this! We all had shocked faces when everyone denied the Hamilton tickets! We love it over here! 😂 And “per item” is insane for laundry! Do socks count as one or two? 🤔😂

Whenever I need laundry service on vacation I use Poplin laundry service. 2weeks worth of laundry was $25-30 and that includes free pickup and delivery

My boss and I were in New York for a conference and she wanted to see The Lion King.I didn't care for the movie, so I wasn't happy about it, but wow, was I glad we went! Loved it!!!

I can tell you the “Anita gelato” place outside of the lion king is excellent for an after show snack! You get a delicious gelato (several flavors) and a decent portion for a fair price in Times Square!

Y'all are so fun! You were at the Marquis where The Wiz is playing! It is a "cup-filling" show. I've seen it twice. Fab show but they are leaving soon! "What is that, velvet"? I am on the floor. Thanks for the amazing video. PS: There is a supremely delicious gelato place across from Junior's and a couple of doors down from the Marquis. You will love it. Oops, end of the video; I saw y'all went! Also, Brooklyn Diner on E 43rd has nice portions.

Great vlog!!! Made me Soooooo Homesick!! Funny Fact: I auditioned for the lion king when I was little but never to this day saw the play 😂😂😂😂 ( so NYer of me) June you should know better. Never get the food right on time square. They jack the price up because of location!!! Please do more of these sooo fun!! Would love to see you try Caribbean food in Brooklyn and you have to go to Queens for the spicy Indian food
