Madden "this is football " madden and sumerall were the best football announcers of all time ....

I was at that Redskins-Giants game in 1990. The Giants defense held the Redskins to 10 points. During the 4th quarter, Ernest Byner had a pass bounce off his chest in the end zone and we picked it. The Walls INT for a TD came on the Redskins final Possession, we were up 14-10. When Walls ran that ball back to the end zone I thought Giants Stadium was going to collapse to the ground.

Taylor. He is never equaled.

You could tell Pat Summerall still loved the giants ... best announcer ever.

Now this is real nfl. Madden and Summeral, Enberg and Olsen, Criquie, Stockton, and of course, Frank Al and Dan. I miss these days.

Terry Kinard was a great, underrated ball hawk. And how about that Tom Flynn!

I remember watching all this back in the day; some of the finest defenses I ever saw, those Giants teams, terribly underrated. Fantastic work putting this together!
