Mendoza has done a good job. Smart tweaks to the batting order( Lindor lead off, JD third. Gets absolutely no credit whenever bullpen does it’s job like the first two Padres games. Unfair criticism whenever bullpen gives up anything. To say he makes more bad moves than good is just ridiculous,

Baty is way too young to give up on him

@jimwerther we don't have the convenience of coddling a prospect this season. And he has stunk. We need to win games and not nurture bad performing prospects at the major league level. If the team tanks again, call him up later in the year. Plus he literally just started playing second base. Vientos needs to play 3rd every night.

@@shiznitshnitzel4 You probably said the same thing about Baty ten days into the season, when he was hitting over .300 and fielding like Graig Nettles. What will you say if Vientos goes into a 2-for-50 slump? Baseball is a game which moves at its own pace.
