THIS IS THE NEW YORKER HOTEL A WYNDHAM PROPERTY, Suite & balcony Tour.
We got a surprise upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with a huge balcony and epic views of the Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, Hudson River, Chrysler Building, 34th Street and 42nd Street!!
The hotel was opened on January 2, 1930, with 2503 rooms and prices starting at just $3.50 a night. Can you believe that guests had direct access to Penn Station through the hotel’s private tunnel. Another accomplishment is that the hotel had its own power plant.
