I'm at the point where if fragsnobs hate it cause it's "boring" or "not unique" I am then interested. It doesn't smell like Libre at all to me. I don't think it smells like most of the stuff mentioned. And i'm not gonna ding something because it's mean to please masses. I'm the masses. So cool. I'm not interested in impressing fragrance snobs.

As a long time fragrance collector this is dead on. I saw this comment a month ago and I had to find it tonight, cause my wife bought me this and loves it. I’ve only worn it when we go out for dinner etc and surprisingly it works in the fall weather amazingly well. I have some fragrances worth $800+, but this is the one my wife actually went out and bought for me. I usually buy my own cause I’m picky. This time she said, NOPE YOU ARE WEARING THIS!! I am not a snob. Those people that turn their noses up at things made well just because they’re familiar are, simply put, idiots. This is honestly a masterpiece from a marketing standpoint.

MYSLF is a young person’s fragrance aimed at the 18-30 year old market, for someone just getting into designer fragrances. This ain’t for collector’s and frag com snobs. It does smell like a blend of several scents that have been popular over the last couple years. It has a fantastic opening and solid drydown, overall a very youthful vibe. A pleasant blend of fresh and sweet to my nose. This will be a huge seller especially this upcoming holiday season.

Comments on every review I’ve seen call this one “too safe and boring”. I personally think it’s super versatile and pleasant. Imo it’s not deserving of the hate it’s getting. Is it revolutionary and new for collectors? Nahhh. Is it something most people would feel comfortable grabbing in a Nordstrom or Macys (especially if they aren’t avid collectors)-IMO yes. Is it enough to compete with the Y line that I think achieves that same objective? Probably not but for those not collecting it’s a great option if they’re looking for something to daily wear.

Really enjoyed this scent, so much so that I purchased it But after a couple of days of wearing I found that it leaned a little too feminine for my liking so I ended up exchanging it That opening is really really nice tho 👌🏽

This smells great. It’s clearly designed to please just about everyone. Kind of reminds of more youthful BDC EDP. You could wear this everyday for the rest of your life and be comfortable in any situation. I will probably buy this one as I know my wife will love it.

Smells fine, but that's about it, it doesn't make you think that's a smash the smell doesn't catch you (there so many greater fragrances) but it is a pleasant smell, clean very floral slightly soapy and spicy. Its kinda a softend Y Le Parfum with bits and pieces of LNDLH and Librè, it has some femininity to it. Could be a far related answer by YSL to Dior Homme (Intense), Valentino Uomo Intense. I could imagine as a younger gentleman wearing it going to a fine restaurant or a summer white beach fest (everything dressed and covered in white) because of the florals.

Now I know why I love it so much. It smells like an intense version of Valentino Donna Born in aroma and a bit of YSL Libre cause of the lavender, bergamot, and orange.

To my nose, it opened very similar to the way L'Homme L'intense smells, but then started to go off in a different direction within a couple of minutes.

Its a good scent like literally 80 to 90% of fragrances out there. I cant believe the same arguments come about every time a new fragrance is released! Some will like, some wont simple as that. Smell it, if you like it buy it. If not don't, its not complicated.

I smelled this again yesterday. Getting it in a few days. To me it smells like a fresher version of Paco Rabanne One Million Parfum. This one shall suit you lifestyle perfectly as I intend on using it for the office and casual wear all year round.

It actually smells very similar to Prada Luna Rossa Ocean you need to smell them side by side. The Ambrofix (synthetic ambroxan) in the YSL mixed with its scent profile gives it that kind of blue, piercing fresh, almost sour/mouth watering smell that Ocean has (like blue rasberry candy). It's just this YSL has more of a green vibe mixed in with it, and oddly enough it reminds me of 1 million in some ways because of the way the citrus and the ambrofix collaborate.

Sampled YSL MYSLF at Macys this past weekend and found it generic and boring. Especially when I compared it to the new Ralph's Club Elixir, which was fantastic imo.

I just tried this out in Macy's on card and skin, and here's my take: it smells just like nice laundry detergent and performs in the 6-8 hour range for me. It doesn't smell interesting at all, but it smells *good*, and it'll smell good to just about everyone except seasoned frag com nerds.

I’ve tested it twice already - sprayed on my skin to assess the longevity but it sucks in terms of that. In just an hour or even lesser, I couldn’t smell it on my skin anymore. I love the scent, but I’m still contemplating on whether to buy 1 or not because of poor longevity.

Tried it twice at the department stores including skin as I am a huge fan of fragrances from YSL house as they are very likable. Although the scent is really pleasant and fresh, it is really safe almost to the point of being kind of boring. It’s very mass appealing and smells good, but if you have a more extensive collection it’s a skip as it feels generic. It’s a shame as I was really hoping it would have been a banger. Better luck next time YSL.

I sprayed a few blasts and got a light green citrus floral opening. Then from the mid to base, it smells like bad boy parfum to me

Myself is overpriced by at least $100. It is a low-grade synthetic fragrance that dissipates within 2 hours leaving no projection or sillage. I’m wearing it today, 4 sprays, and its lack of longevity is a huge disappointment. It does smell good for the short couple of hours it lasts. A real EDP should last all day with one spray. To me Myslf is a failed attempt at Creed Mellisime Imperial.

This one struck me as...boring, extremly safe and unoffensive. It smells very...right out of the shower clean and fresh without anything more to it. HOWEVER...that is the exact scent that a lot of women love smelling on a man...

Doesn't smell out of the shower unless you mean a girls shower creme 😄 nothing wrong with it being floral, but it does lean alot to the feminine side cause it seems the florals have the high ground for some time. It smells fine, but it just doesn't have that spark that makes you think that's a smash cause everything is so soft. So I don't think it will be so mass pleasing and popular like the Sauvage-Line, Dylan Blue, Y-Line, Le Male, 1 Million, Fierce, SWY and many many more. But in the end the fragrance just came out and we will if the girls will catch on it. Though, it could be a young classy gentleman's parfum for a white beach affair fest or a fine restaurant who doesn't feel ready to wear Dior Homme Intense, Valentino Uomo Intense, Givemchy Gentleman EdP/Intense you know.

Boring and generic, at best. My first impression was similar to yours, in so much as the first 20 seconds of 'makeup counter test strip at Macy's so we can sell a ton of this shit' wore off, and I realized I'd smelled this before just about everywhere. Total money grab, as many new ones are these days. Once this hits a price point putting it in proper competitive company (Mandarina Duck Pure Black maybe) then It could fit.

I think this is just obnoxious. Smells like 10 other releases from the last years but worse, way too sweet & feminine. A total fail in my opinion. I had to scrub it off when the drydown got even more pugnant.
