This huge package of treats from Canada reminds me of the events of 11 September 2001. When planes were being diverted out of US airspace, Canada stepped up, Gander township took care of thousands of people. From the generosity of brothers and sisters and being a neighbor to us, they fed and housed everyone stranded from home. Not one was lacking. Their Canadian hosts expected nothing in return. This shows how blessed we are for the neighbors we have. Also there was a Hockey game where the US and Canada were playing against each other. The microphone broke down during the US National Anthem and so the Canadian fans took over and sang our National Anthem. I was so touched and impressed by Canadian respect and the concern they showed for others. Our strength cones from our allies and our relationship with them. Our relationship particularly with Cannada makes our countries powerful. God bless America and GOD bless Canada and our troops.

First off, I have to say after watching all your videos, you really need to travel to Canada once things get back to normal. You will really love our country. As for languages, both English and French are official languages. French is primarily found in 3 of our 10 provinces, Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick. In fact, in Quebec the entire province is French with everyone outside of the island of Montreal are primarily French speaking whereas on the island of Montreal, the island is practically split down the middle, west side being English speaking and east side being French speaking. Tim Horton's is a HUGE chain coast to coast in Canada that serve coffee, donuts and breakfast sandwiches as well as a full menu of dinner selections, mainly sandwiches and soups. Starbucks is indeed coast to coast as well and very popular here in Canada. Loved watching you try our chocolate bars and I am truly jealous only because I developed an allergy to chocolate (cocoa) when I was 21, so I have only a distant memory of the tastes of various chocolate bars but remember Aero mint as one of my favorites growing up. Looking forward towards the second installment of Canadian snacks...I'm guessing chips... Huge hugs from Montreal XX

That is so interesting I didn’t realize that about Montreal being devided language wise. Thank you so much for the fun video. (I have to tell you that I have lived in Canada for 64 years, and have never seen some of these candies.) Yes in Canada we say chocolate bars, and not candy bar, as our American cousins do. I am French Canadian, and as another viewer said, we have 2 official languages. In Quebec, most people speak French. New Brunswick is about half and half - in fact it is the only province which is officially bilingual. Ontario also has a large group of French speaking residents, and every other province has small areas of ‘francophones’, but are mostly English speaking. Starbucks is an American company, which is found through out Canada, but Tim Hortons is the true Canadian coffee shop. If you want to try some other Canadian foods, and Atlanta wants to cook, try ‘poutine’, which is French fried potatoes topped with gravy and cheese curds. You can also try a very traditional pie called ‘tourtières’, made from ground beef and pork, mixed with shredded potato and spices. It is served on Christmas Eve in most French Canadian homes. After Mexico, maybe you can try Holland. They have some very interesting traditional foods. (My husband grew up in Holland). They also have some interesting, and unique traditions, such as celebrating Sint Nicholaas on December 6.

Hi ya, Canada has two official languages - English and French. We are not all bilingual though. Yes, we get alot of the same foods from England ie Cadbury's chocolate bars etc. and yes, we say chocolate bars and not candy bars. Our thanksgiving falls on the second week of October and our meal is almost identical. Both Canada and the US usually have turkey for Christmas dinner. Love your show and may God continue to bless you and your beautiful family. Ps - Tim Horton's is Canadian and pretty popular here, we call it Timmy's for short. Heather

As someone from Saskatoon Saskatchewan, most of western Canada only speaks English, even though it's required to have both on all packaging. Don't know many that speak both languages. Some French immersion grade schools. You'll find more bi-lingual in the eastern half and of course mostly French in Quebec and some of New Brunswick.

@@kelliehatch1712 Growing up, my sister duct taped me to a chair, dragged me into the middle of her room, stuffed socks in my mouth so I couldn't scream, turned off the lights, and left me there with the door closed for20 minutes. Another time, she got mad that I couldn't help her with something on the computer, so she swung an extension cord full force at the back of my head, prongs facing me, knocking me clear off the couch and giving me a concussion that made me lose my balance randomly for three days. The list goes on. I think blaming her brother for her stealing a candy bar is one of the nicest things a sister can do 😂

Happy New Year from Canada! I watched a couple of your videos this morning and would like to help you with a few pointers about Canada. We have 2 official languages. English is prevalent in most of the provinces and territories, while French is the majority in Quebec and some parts of New Brunswick. Tim Horton's IS a chain of restaurants, which was started by a former NHL hockey player by the same name. Most Canadians consider Tim's (as we call it) a National treasure. It's not really comparable to Starbucks because the menus are vastly different. Yes, we call them chocolate bars (at least in Alberta we do, but other parts of the country may call them candy bars). Sam, it does me great pleasure to see you enjoy maple so much! Hockey is not our OFFICIAL national sport. That would be lacrosse (la-CROSS), but most Canadians (or Canuks, if you prefer) think of hockey blood as running in our veins, so to heck with lacrosse. Yes, most Canadians live within a couple of hundred miles of our southern border. This is not because we want to live so closely to our American neighbours (love to you all) but, as you guessed in the video, it's because the rest of the country is frozen solid for much of the year. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, which is the largest city this far north in all of Canada (population of the Greater Edmonton Area is around 1,000,000) and the mercury frequently plummets to minus 40 degrees celsius (also minus 40 f) for weeks at a time. However, with the proper clothing (the key is layering!) it's not that bad. Summer temps often exceed plus 30 celsius (86 degrees f), so it's not uncommon to see seasonal temperature swings of 120 degrees f between winter and summer (about 70 degrees c). Its great to see such family fun, and to watch you enjoy some Canadian treats.
