New Zealand's MUST DO GOLD MINING TOWN | ARROWTOWN, NEW ZEALAND

Today we explore a historic GOLD mining town called ARROWTOWN in New Zealand.
It is New Zealand's Prettiest Gold Mining town. Arrowtown has a lot of HISTORY and is famous for it's Chinese Gold Miners settlement. We explore the abandoned huts and shops of the early CHINESE MINERS that used to dig for GOLD here in ARROWTOWN.
Arrowtown also has become quite a popular destination for TOURISTS who want to explore the village and shops. We also try out some of the local wines and drink GIN on a rooftop overlooking the PRETTIEST GOLD MINING TOWN in the world.
Arrowtown has a lot to offer and it's easy to see why it's become so popular in recent years.

Just imagine surviving a Central Otago winter in those wee cottages, huts actually,...doesn't bear thinking about...brave brave people.

Yeah absolutely. And it was made worse because these men had come from near tropical regions in south china so it was a huuuuge change of climate for them.

I love these types of towns. And who doesn't love a rooftop gin?

CRAZY what the early settlers used to live in aye!! we don't need much to survive but we have all become to privileged now!!! wow 55$ for the 5 meals thats so good!!! nats curry looks so good! im not a fan on gin but i would like to do the tasting yum summer dayz !!! thanks for showing us around guys! :)

We were never big gin fans either but lately.... We've been trying to expand our tastes. Gin cocktails are always good though especially on a day like that! Yeah the settlers and miners had it pretty rough that's for sure.. sorry our filming was all over the place that day... We were pretty excited that day.
