@@jazzbarker9514 Jamaican netball authorities should of not accepted to tour NZ when the contracts were signed at the beginning of the year. Now Jamaica faces big fines from World Netball for the visa problems and lack of preparation where only 7 players made it NZ and I dont think netball nz will invite Jamica to tour nz ever again. It was so bad that Netball NZ had to pay the flights and accommodation for Romelda Aiken and Berrego who both reside in Australia just to get them to make up the short team member numbers of the Jamaican team. Shocking in this day and no one wins in this situation

I suspected financially they needed to play. Cancelling would have cost them money in venue fees, advertising, the broadcaster would have wanted their money. Cancelling at that late stage would have cost NZ netball a small fortune.

@@jazzbarker9514 I don't know if anyone here said it was NZ's problem. the overwhelming remarks are that the management shouldn't have accepted the offer to tour and clearly, we now see why that is! how that became a conclusion about fault finding as regards NZ is beyond me!

@@Skybar23 the thing is most of the girls on the team do not get paid enough and have 9-5's to stay afloat. The jm govt. Is a HUGE disappointment because of the lack of support that the team is given despite their successes in the last decade...it's embarrassing

Not really a C team. That’s the same team that won silver in CWG22 without sterling, fowler, ward and beckford. To be fair, the ferns are without their key player too, their captain crampton, burger, watson etc.

You can check the wikipedia page, all of those player are in the 2022 jamaican squad, not the C squad. Calling latanya wilson a C team player is an insult to her, just because shamera is not in the circle with her does not make her a C team player, she’s a world class player. She is one of the best defenders in today’s netball.
