New Zealand: Unloading the Train Ferry "Aratere"

This video shows the ferry "Aratere" being unloaded at Wellington on New Zealand's north island, after arriving from Picton.
The ferry journey time between both ports is approximately 3 hours. Ferries also convey road vehicles & passengers
The Aratere is able to carry rail vehicles, trucks & cars and also foot passengers.

That was a really cool capture, the loading of the ferry! We used two have several ferry services near here, crossing lake Michigan! All the rail service ones are gone! (Dave).

Thanks! Yes, very few left now. This one will live on for a while! they are planning on getting 2 new ferries as well.

No, passengers are taken, but you need to take a shuttle bus from Wellington station. In Picton, the passenger station is close by.
