I just bought it a week ago, idk why but my Zippo have same production date stamp on both case and insert E 17 ( May 2017) like yours 😊

How long have you been collecting zippos, and what got you into it? What do you keep them in or how do you store them? If you could only keep 10 of your zippos which ones would you keep and why?

I just bought it 3 days ago... We have the same production date (E 17) on the case but my insert is a month younger (F 17) 😊

You also can just burn off the excess fluid by tipping the lighter over while the flame is lit using a pair of tongs or something of the sort

back when i wrote this no, it did not have a good ping. but after using it for a few days it is much better. dont know how or why it changed tho haha

Antique finish wears off very quickly if you spill the fluid onto case.

It does! But you have to carry it a while for the protective coating to wear off, then it starts smelling
