After a few days in Cornwall we head across the border into Devon and spend a relaxing few days on a campsite, we visit Combe Martin and do a site review of the campsite we're on plus we head home the long way via Porlock and Minehead, please enjoy the videos and if you'd like to leave a comment make it positive please, we're doing the vlogs for our memories but are happy if you enjoy watching!

Love that part of the world , in many ways more than Cornwall. That grass bank reminded me of a few nightmares we had when caravanning in the past 😂😂😂. Thanks for sharing .

Yeah I get that, Cornwall is beautiful but Devon does have some great places too, yeah even though I initially thought that bank was the up I still wouldn’t fancy the down either! 👍

Such a familiar area to me Rick as we’ve holidayed in north Devon for over 30 years Combe Martin is lovely and woolacombe and clovelly so many lovely places to see great video as ever

A very lovely area we visited a few years ago. We stayed at Watermouth Cove right by the bay. Absolutely persisted it down all day at Combe Martin though so we took refuge in the Pack O’ Cards pub. Great memory 👍🏻🍻

It was a nice few days definitely worth going, meal was fantastic in the pub although didn’t film that as we do try to keep some stuff private 😊

Nice facilities at that site. Combe Martin is a great little place, good sea caves off the beach and a lot of silver mining remains.

Newberry looked like a lovely site. We went to Minehead a few times too when our girls were little. Doesn’t look like it’s changed too much. 😊🧙‍♂️

I must thank you for recommending Plockton . We stayed on the same car park . The locals were very welcoming. We loved it there and delayed crossing over to Skye. 😊

@@RickandHeather I’m from the midlands . Absolutely love Scotland. Feel like I have to get a fix of Scotland! We toured Harris and Lewis . If you’ve never been please go there .. it’s amazing and some breathtaking park ups . Thank you your videos.. 😊

Incredible! I do love the historic stone buildings at the entrance of the campsite you stayed at. The seaside villages just planted along the hills I absolutely love as well! Thank you Rick, Heather and the adorable Poppy!

I guess what seems normal to us is fascinating to our American friends because everything is small or older here, you don’t really have the history like we do.

@@RickandHeather No, we don't! The history of the UK 🇬🇧 goes back melleniums! We only go back to the early 17th century. Plus I think that you reside in the UK all the landscape is familiar. So sometimes one takes it for granted. I take for granted the area I live in, it can be beautiful, and I see it at times. And England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland are an Island, and seeing the sea towns and villages is simply breathtaking! Plus, some of your roads and villages go back to Roman times, I see that.

Thank you for the Vlog once again you have brought back happy memories of holidays, at Coombe Martin, with our children when they were little. I have only ever been to Minehead for the day which was back in the early 90s and I’ve not been back since. Do you think it is a nice place to go now? Take care Gill

Minehead looked ok to us, plenty to see and do but probably only a long weekend I suspect, lovely you enjoy our stuff and comment every time we appreciate it ❤️

@@RickandHeather Thank you for replying, we are currently trying to stay in every county in England. This has obviously been hampered by COVID but thankfully we have no timescale for completion of our challenge. Our plan was to go away once a month, mostly weekends due to work. I find yours and other you tuber’s Vlogs a great source of information for planning our trips. I look forward to yours as you have similar senses of humour to Steve and I. Gill

we stayed there many many moons ago in one of the static caravans are they still there? , been back at Combe Martin and The Pack of Cards a few times since, a lovely part of our great country :-) When we get our CV40 in Feb/March next year we will defo be going back :-)

Didn’t see any statics as far as I recall, a few pods etc tho, lovely area hope you get the CV with no delays 🏴‍☠️
