Hey Abby just wanted to come on here and give a quick warning and really hope you’re not offended at all, I just mean well. The way CJs head is nuzzled into the other side of the wrap can cause rebreathing and it can be really dangerous. It best to have his nose exposed to direct air. I hope I don’t sound rude, this just isn’t something I was even aware of when I had my first born! I had no idea rebreathing was even a thing so I assumed if his airway wasn’t blocked he would be fine

This is one of the only times I’ve seen someone else not have a designated diaper changing station!! People thought we were nuts for not having one, but we were also living in an apartment when we had our first baby and it saved us money/space, as well as giving us more flexibility to just have a diaper caddy that we move room to room with washable changing liners (the munchkin brand has been our favorite). We consistently change our daughter on our bed, but having the freedom to move around has been great!

I wore my son daily cause he was terrible at napping And everyone was like... you are spoiling him. But I was so stressed at my baby not sleeping, so I just followed my gut and wore him. It really helped. He is 6 years old now.

I’m breastfeeding my 4th and another great option is bamboo reusable nursing pads. I have had the same set of 7 for 3 of my 4kids now. Just wash them when you have 1 or 2pair left. Great video though and all great products.

For diper rash you can use petroleum jelly it has helped out so much have used many different types but the petroleum jelly has worked the best

My home visit children’s specialist told me to not use the nipple sheild 24/7 but I told her it was it’s super painful without it and she said it’s not necessary unless with a doctors recommendation , since it can contribute to poor weight gain and health problems for both mother and baby. Instead, begin nursing your baby with the shield in place for a few minutes and then remove the shield to try latching your little one directly onto your breast. She showed me how to start the feed with it on and once he’s settled after a couple mins try taking it off and have him latch without it and that’s how I finally got to stop using the sheild! Lifesaver for Me bc I hated washing and trying to put the nipple sheild in place lmao

Question- any moms not use binkies or pacifiers? Reason I ask- my mom never gave me one as a baby and thus, it wasn't hard for me to give up when I got a little older and never wanted one. Also I never needed braces. Was thinking of trying that but didn't know if anyone else tried it?

For anyone reading this those wipes suckkkkk. We used them for a little while and then my husband used one on his own booty and he said they are horriple and like scrape and burn so we threw them all away. We use huggies or kirkland brand wipes now!
