I am so happy for Anthony Gordon. Difficult 18 months he’s had but he’s loving life and Newcastle now!! What a guy!! Always says hello to everyone, it’s a little thing but it goes a long way!

Intensity is the word keep it up lads Bruno Guimarães Joelinton & Sandro Tonali is the most physical and powerful midfield trio in the PL they'll ball this season if they stay fit.

He’s a proper coach. I think it gets you much more respect from the players. Seeing your boss lace up and get at it with you and the team. All day, boots on the ground. He wants to see with his own eyes up close, how his players are getting on. Proper coach.

Nice to see Bruno taking Jamie Miley under his wing there. You'd assume that senior players at certain clubs probably don't always bother interacting with the U21 players, but Bruno seems like a genuinely nice guy, as do the rest of the squad.

Love this. The lads really enjoy spending time with each other. However when that whistle blew they switched into game mode. Incredible mentality. Oh and Tonali couldn't stop smiling throughout.

Everyone appears to be more than a happy camper in the squad, a lot of scenes depict mutual respect between youth players and internationals, no exclusive cliques. I think that the thing that happened with Ryan Fraser probably has something to do with it...
