To be honest Illusion of Exist deserved the win. While Japan is dope, Illusion of Exist were more versatile through the whole jam.

You got to give it to the originality from Russia. The other crew were definitely ready but I have to say I've seen there moves before.

I think it was closer than the judges took it. I think they were a bit biased towards IoE. However either could have taken it from what I saw. Neither team was perfectly clean and both teams had powerful and original moves. IoE had more original moves, Japan had more powerful moves. They were well matched and a tie breaker would have been better.

IOE style is ugly, not on beat and they get caught on their own feet which makes their already slow style slower.

It was close I feel. I don't think the unanimous decision by the judges was right. Maybe a tie breaker was in order in my opinion.
