Same. My garden is rural and pretty private, but from one angle I can be spotted if a car is driving slowly. I've searched for green pj's, but to no avail. Would gardeners buy camo pj's? 😉

Suggestion, put a cute Mailbox on the pole that's holding your gathering basket. Then you can store some clippers, scissors , anything needed for your tasks. And they will be protected from the weather.

Linda, my husband and I were married 46 years ago next month. We spent our honeymoon in Victoria, BC at the Empress hotel. Across from our room on the light posts are huge hanging baskets of red geraniums, white alyssum, and blue lobelia. Every night a large tanker truck with a seat on top would drive through the street, and they would water them. The red white and blue looked so gorgeous with the British flags on the Parliament building in the back ground. I try to have at least 1 pot planted before Memorial Day, but definitely before flag day. Seeing your colonial flag, your urns would also look gorgeous planted with the red, white and blue.

Linda, Good Morning! Thank you for taking us along with you to your beautiful relaxing garden. I usually watch your videos on Sundays. However, I had off today and was able to view it this morning. I too love having fresh flowers in the house. To me it just makes a home so inviting. We are having a mosquito problem here and it has been 97 degrees. So, getting out very early and later in the evening has been crucial on the Gulf Coast.

I'm definitely not a fan of spiders, but that white one was a beauty. She had a certain elegance about her. I guess it was the white with pink touches that impressed me. I really like how the brick pathway came out in front of your house. The flower beds are all looking so lovely. Unfortunately, if we ignore the weeds, they take over. You're doing a good job. Your garden makes me happy. My dear Auntie, who recently went to heaven at the age of 93, grew beautiful peonies. Such sweet memories of the two of us in her garden as she was teaching me. That glass would make a beautiful vase! My daughters arranged for a floral design seminar for the three of us to take as my Mother’s Day gift. We had the class yesterday. I learned that if you place a hydrangea flower themselves into warm water for ten minutes to hydrate it, then remove the flower from the water, cut the stem on a diagonal, dip the fresh cut in Alum before placing it in the vase with conditioned water the flowers last longer. You can do the same treatment with dusty miller too. I wonder if it works for peonies too? Can’t wait to try it!

I can only imagine how wonderful it is to walk out and pick all those gorgeous blooms from your very own garden. Hard work truly does pay off. Even though I am in the suburbs..... I still delight every morning when I open the front door and hear the birds chirping away. I have lots of trees, so they are very happy . And some have started building a little nest over the door. Your front planters look wonderful, and love the black Adirondack chairs. BTW... the front brick path looks amazing!!!

Thanks for looking it up and sharing about it changing colors depending on the flower it's on ...nature is so fascinating 😊 Sorry Willow has been sick 😔 I said a prayer for her.🙏 I also love herbs and I love lemon verbena too I put a few fresh leaves in my bottle of water and give it a good shake and enjoy my water even more. I have to have my flowers but I have become an herb enthusiast and make tinctures too for medicine. It's so fun to learn about them and their uses and making mixes for cooking. Gardening is hard work but it is also play if you enjoy it. What fun to get a spur of the moment date. ❤

Thanks, Linda I enjoyed the garden visit today. I found some of the lambs ear that doesn't need to be deadheaded, it's waiting to get transplanted today. I'm excited because I've been seeing it in my Fine Gardening magazine for 5 yrs but never found transplants until recently.

The Peonies are just beautiful aren’t they? My favorite Spring/ early Summer flower. Linda, have you ever seen a yellow Peony? I purchased a plant last year and it’s blossomed and opened for me this week. It’s absolutely gorgeous, a lovely light lemon color. I think you’d absolutely love them as an addition to your Peony selection. Look into them if you have a chance. ❤ I must say your garden looks so beautiful and it reflects the care and love you put into it. I’ve watched since you moved into this house and it’s amazing how much you’ve improved it! It looks lovely from the front and you should both be very proud.

Love what you've done with your garden. I'm sure all of the previous owners of your home are smiling ( those who are here and dearly departed ). I'm so glad to get my "garden fix" when you post your videos. I live Chicago adjacent where it's was raining all the time and now we've got cicadas for 6 weeks. I have my plants, in their pots, patiently waiting to be planted. Love the glass that could be used as a vase!! And happy anniversary flowers 💐

Happy belated anniversary Linda ❤ I hate gardening but I love seeing others do it go figure lol! I will keep sweet Willow in my prayers! Glad to hear she’s doing so much better! Hopefully she stays clear of bees and other insects. My friends dog got very sick from a tick bite. We live coastal but do have wilderness and horse trails throughout the area. Remember to wear sunscreen even in cloudy weather. ❤
