You are so funny. I totally get it ❤️ I’m older now so it’s harder to carry the boxes up and down … and it all takes longer…. a lot longer … I have also scaled down so much. But the love for decorating and change is still there.

Linda, I just love your channel -- you never cease to inspire me. I tend to decorate a bit early for Christmas (before Thanksgiving, mainly because I want to know what I don't have and want to make sure I have time to to get it). Love the idea of a Thanksgiving tree, sort of a transition between fall and Christmas... might do that next year. And I have Towles in my family tree (Philip was the original) and so I knew of the connection to the silver company. Wish I could afford real sterling silver, but even collecting one piece at a time is unaffordable. Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!

What a special, unexpected treat to see your video this morning! I love your Thanksgiving tree each year and so look forward to seeing it. (I particularly love your hunt tree, as well, so I hope you'll have that one with the foxes and hounds, etc. again. I took inspiration from that theme and will use the many horses/hounds/fox items I've had for years, and also have added to my collection this year to do my own hunt tree variation for my holiday decor.) I also have my mother's Towle sterling, which is the simple but elegant "Craftsman" pattern. We used it every day when I was a child, but I only use it now for special occasions. One of my first purchases as a young woman years ago was a set of Oneida stainless flatware (originally made in my native New York State) in the popular and classic "Paul Revere" pattern. I have inherited a few other sets of flatware that I use as the seasons and my table settings dictate, but it's so nice to have real sterling for entertaining. Thank you, as always, for sharing your lovely traditions, decor and recipes to celebrate my favorite holiday each autumn.
