Hoo boy... that final boss. I cut out my first attempt because I didn't realize the key thing and floundered: 2 button throws cannonballs. I also never realized destroying asteroids = mushrooms spawning.
It's a good boss, but you have to play very well to win. The controls of the Klown Car show some weaknesses, I feel - navigating over constant bottomless pit makes it way tougher. Getting into a roll of 3-4 straight hits is the key (I think I heard it takes 24).
It's a well-earned 100% World 8 once you're done though. Fast autoscrolling, death smoke, skawo's favorite red ring Dragon Coaster challenge, and more are featured in the toughest levels of the game.
As far a desync goes, I sacrificed 8-7 and the Challenge House being noticeably off because the rest seemed to actually be very good. I was actually dancing with the music getting the 3rd star coin, but now it's desynced so... lol.
Finally, there are a couple blips, and my editing technique did fail, so yay. You'll notice out-of-place audio from another part of the video and a quick missing piece of the level, not a big deal.
