Enjoy full highlights of 5th and final test of England's tour of South Africa 2004/05 5 match test series at Centurion where the test was DRAWN and England won the test series 2-1.

England won the toss and elected to field first.
South Africa were all out for 247 in 1st innings.
Andrew Flintoff and Simon Jones picked up 4 wickets each in 1st innings.
In reply England were all out for 359 in 1st innings.
Andre Nel picked up 6 wickets in 1st innings.
South Africa declared their 2nd innings at the score 269-6.
Jacques Kallis batted SUPERBLY FOR HIS 136 NOT OUT in 2nd innings.
Chasing 185 to win in 2nd innings when South Africa were at the score 73-4 match was called-off.
Test was DRAWN.
England won the series 2-1.
AB de Villiers was announced Man Of The Match.
Andrew Strauss was announced Man Of The Series.

The way Andre Nel behaved you would expect him to be a consistent 90mph bowler. However the guy used to generally bowl 83-84 mph and topped out at 88-89mph. Very rarely touched 90mph.

Even Ollie Robinson behaves like that when he barely crosses 80mph hahah , some guys are like that, even Shane. Warne Anil kumble despite being spinners were quite aggressive

Best cricket was 1976 to 1990 especially with the great West Indies team. Technically perfect batters, great fast bowlers and exceptional slip catching

@@barruasifrahman920 T20,ruined everything.It led to more cricket being played.To facilitate high scores ,the rules were tinkered and it left the bowlers against ,smaller boundaries,broader bats, limitations on bouncers , mandatory ball change after 25 overs (there goes the reverse swing ).I hope and pray they don't touch test cricket .I despise T20 but I still had some love for ODI.When the negative effects spiralled onto ODI too,my interest dwindled .

The England team from 2004-2014 was something else. Wins in Australia, India, South Africa and New Zealand, and a home whitewash over India. What I wouldn't give to have this team back...

After 2014 they shifted their focus from test cricket to ODIs/T20Is and won two wcs of each formats.

@@SK-jp3hq series against the West Indies at home the year before was probably his finest moment in a test series, scored a century in every game of that 4 match series, if not for Ntini’s performance on the flattest pitches that South Africa ever produced that summer he would have won man of the series instead.

Most of us who are experienced know that we have not arrived but we can see we are on the right path, our leadership is also aware. General public may be over enthusiastic. Indian economy is on a far better position, because we are partnering with EU countries and not USA. USA has the advantage of advanced technology, large market, capital, manpower large land mass hence can leverage its position on the other hand EU countries like France and Germany are a perfect match for India because we can provide market, technical skills, land, capital market etc so EU companies with India can compete with US market. As an example France cannot build two Rafael factories in France, but can built a factory in India to supply India and far east. etc.
