First look at a new low priced chamber sealer from Vevor. Featuring a chamber size of 13 x 10.6 x 2 in/330 x 270 x 50 mm, 10.2 in/260 mm sealing length (bag), and 260W sealing power, it keeps your food fresh and flavorful. Plus, it operates quietly at less than 70 decibels. Perfect results first bags. Will do updates as it sees more use. Pretty impressive at the price.

I have had the smaller machine for 2 years. Actually, mine is a Vevor with a yellow face plate instead of the orange face plate of this model... but otherwise very similar. It has been a great machine. You can use a 10" x 13" bag in the smaller machine. That machine absolutely is enough for most home users, or at least users like me. I do the usual stuff... buy meat in bulk, preserve cut foods (like a half of an avocado), preserve dry goods, like rice. Anyway, a few months back I also bought the larger model. Why? well the "reason" was that I started to Sous Vide stuff and I could do two bags at once with the larger sealing bar. Honestly, the real reason is that I like gadgets. Both machines are great and are real values.

I agree both are great machines and my larger one has been through a couple thousand bags with no issues. This one definitely would be good for most people and looks like it should last. Thanks for watching.

If you could get some of the material over the sealer bar i think you could do 2 bags at a time with a piece of that sealer material between them. That would save wear and tear on machine and power good luck thanks for all your videos and i am glad your feeling better

Thanks. We are using this one for most packing now and so far it's just as good as the larger model. A lot quieter also. Vevor really does offer some great affordable products that actually work good. Hope you enjoy yours. Thanks for watching.

That ice pack idea is something I hadn't thought of. I am curious about the repressurization. It sounds slow which is good. I have an Anova chamber sealer and I feel like the repressurization is too fast. It looks cool but I think it would be better to slowly release. I don't seal anything delicate but if I did I think the speed would cause more damage. Have you tested sealing something like a dry cereal to see if the slow depressurization leads to less breaking?

For fragile items I reduce the vacuum time to like 10 seconds that does not create enough vacuum to crush the items. Less vacuum on the gauge means less damage. Thanks for watching.

This is the machine I'm eyeing on. Wonder if this machine can do seal only by setting the vacuum time to zero. If you don't mind, would you try for me?

For that, I wouldn't wast the money on this machine. Just buy a $25 impulse sealer. Without the vacuum time between bags the seal strip on this will overheat and burn up quickly. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the video. I have found one huge problem with these vevor machines. The company says they do not sell parts and you have to source them locally. If something fails within the short warranty period, they will replace the part or maybe replace the machine, if you can get them to respond. The big question is how do you find parts locally for a machine made in China. I've looked for a source and can't find anyone selling parts for vevor machines. If something simple like the sealing bar or gaskets fail after the warranty period expires, you are out of luck. I guess vevor expects you to buy another one. The bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten. If anyone knows where to get parts in the U.S. for vevor machines, please share. Only then would I consider buying one of these machines.

That seems to be the problem with just about any machine today. They are outsourced fron Chinese manufacturers and rebranded with a label. The one year guarantee is all you get. Definitely replacement parts can be a problem. Things like seals and heatstrips are generic and can be bought on ebay. Ebay also has vacuum pumps. The boards could be a problem that would make the machine useless if not repairable. I recently bought a full size refrigerator from Costco that died in 5 months and when placing a warranty claim to get it fixed was told parts are not available and was given a partiaal refund. Seems like its not just Vevor having this problem. Actually if an item gives me good service for a couple years, I am happy at this point. If you buy through Amazon they usually offer extended warranties. Thanks for watching.

Good morning, URHC, hope you are both keeping safe and well, that looks like an other great product from Vevor, good idea for wooden Dowels, Biscuits, domino’s , I was reading something last year where are they now? Vacuum kiln dry timber, never used any of it so I don’t know what it is like, I cannot remember if I’ve left you a message already, But I did finally go out and purchase a ride on lawnmower, Toro , It is a tool that I need to get used to, I ended up putting it into the river, luckily I did not go all the way in, But it did take me nearly 2 hours to pull it out with my electric winch by time I’ve got everything all sorted, When I had my John Deere ride on, I can go along the embankment about 2 foot away from the edge. I’ve never had any problems., Having two levers to control it, and very close to the river I’ve decided as a no-no at least a meter, it did do a very good job, especially as I’ve got grass nearly in some places 3 feet high stinging nettles and brambles and whatever, The grass has not been cut properly for the best part of four years, I just go around occasionally with a strimmer, Keep up the great work , stay safe, look forward to your next territorial, France.

Many biy operations run vacuum kilns now. It supposedly is the fastest way to dry slabs with very little distortion. You should join the Forestry Forum wher a lot if information about them is in the lumber drying section. www.forestryforum. com. I heard about your mower and be very careful on slopes or damp areas because they loose traction easily and without steering there's no control when sliding. It's almost like AI takes control and tries to kill you. Thanks for watching.

I am very, very tempted. I've a new freezer that can use some filling and my old vacuum sealer leaves a bit, if you know what I mean. I've got a day or so to think on this. Thanks! Sounds like if I replicate the parts and pieces it should be smooth sailing.

At $204 minus 5% this weekend it seems to be fantastic buy. If you don't do big items like roasts and chickens it should work fine. I think it may be an introduction price and may go up but not sure. We vacuum packed and froze everything last year. Or better yet find a neighbor with one you can borrow 🤔. Thanks for watching.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 I copycatted you and went ahead and bought the unit plus bags and vacuum oil. I figure I'll have a leg up on settings! Can't believe I did that but I've been impressed with your vacuum sealing and organization the last few years of watching. Thank you for sharing and I did get $10 off too.

Hope you enjoy yours. Last year we basically froze everything because the canning lids became overpriced and its easier. Being able to do tomatoes and sauces along with soups and things like juices and cider make these chamber type sealers worthwhile. only things we lower the vacuum for are chicken and meat with bones that can puncture bags easily with high vacuum making it look like a bad seal. I always stock up on bags during prime days when Avid armor also runs sales on their website with bulk packs. Let me know how you like yours after using a while.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 A follow up, July 25th: I did my first bagging this evening. Watched the video again as a refresher and it was easy as pie to set up and all the rest. Did yellow and orange carrots today, I've flat beans all snapped and ready to go later or tomorrow. Easy as can be to unbox and get prepped and I am glad there was your video. Very quiet except for the air release and everything worked. I was impressed. I used the bags that came with it, I do have a supply of the Avid Armor 8x12 and 6x9 bags and managed to not overfill with that TSI vacuum oil. I may be freezing or buying in bulk more now! Thank you again for the demo. Hope all stays well.

Mine is not pulling enough of a vacuum. It moves the needle just to the yellow/green line and won’t pull any more.
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023
@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 Ай бұрын
Usually the only thing that causes that is the elevation above sea level your at. Above 200 feet the vacuum will drop off on all machines. The higher you go the lower the vacuum any pump can pull. If you're not above sea level check the seal area around the top and seal along with the internal hose fittings for tightness. I would contact Vevor if it is none of above and see what they say because it could be the pump or gauge. Mine has worked flawlessly so far and goes to full vacuum. Let me know how this is handled and the problem. Thanks for watching.

I'm at about 100 feet. I think there's an online calculator that can give you the loss at different altitudes due to atmospheric pressure. Bags should evacuate fully at that pressure and altitude.

I think it is a great buy at the current price compared to other available machines. This one is much simpler then the bigger one and hopefully lasts as long. Chamber sealers really help keep frozen meats and veggies fresher longer and also let you get into sous vide. Hopefully you enjoy yours and yes they are heavy. I think shipping cost is probably 30% of the price.
