Hi mam. I think ur the right person to asked since ur from NB. A lot of vloggers made the comtent about the NEW BRUINSWICK CRITICAL WORKER PILOT PROGRAM but its a year ago na mostly. And since then, no one updated the status if my nakarating na ba sa NB under that program. Can u make a updates video pls if my naging successful na ba. Also, my husband applied to one of the participant employer and received an email confirmation a week ago that they received the applications and reviewing it, pwede pa din ba mag apply sa job bank, indeed kahit my application submitted na tru their website? Or no need na since my pending application na?

From the start, I have to oppose this program for the simple reason that it's only available for a limited number of companies. It's not the role of governments to select who will be the winners in private affairs. All government programs of this sort have to provide the same service to all competitors. Lets say that I am looking for workers in the same sector and region as one of those companies. How am I to compete whit my own government to get the employees I need and not loose them to this program. I pay my taxes like any one else in the province and then the government takes it to help my competitors instead of providing the necessary services that are needed in my region. I did not vote for this and I will not support it! If this is the type of programs we get in a capitalist democracy, I would rather live in a communist dictatorship like the one in China. At least there, they don't hide their intentions behind a facade of false freedom.

I agree that picking particular companies is troublesome. The Gov't should have picked industries, not individual companies to support with this program. I am not aware of how these companies were chosen - was there a general RFP issued for companies to request to be part of this program? If so, then it is less troublesome that these made the list. They would have had to prove they meet the requirements of the program before being included.

@@valerimacdonald5146 These companies are the government, that is the only reason to include them. Could you imagine a government program in NB that would not include the Irving group? The rest is just there for diversion.

The program is ooen for every company in NB.Whether a company wants to spend the time to be eligible (in terms of documentation) or not is their decision,the government cannot oblige anyone.

@@QuestCanada A company the size of the Irving group could justify spending the time and money to participate in such a program but not many are the size of the Irving group in NB. Plus, if you have the proper contact in government, you could get them to do most of the work, but again, not many companies have the same service in the government as the insiders. I will let you guess who I think are the insiders!
