About Sasha...according to media in Bulgaria today he said for real that he is part of the Raptors at the moment and he will discuss his future with the front office ... my personal feeling is that he will stay and will fit very well ... the only thing he needs is chance and minutes in the rotation....

i think they have a better summer league roster to compete than in the season where scottie barnes played in summer league. enough talent to compete for the summer league championship.

@@miralex67 yep unless his ball handling improves where he can be a starting point guard, he is just a point forward. scottie barnes can pass, but he cant ball handle is the problem.

@@miralex67 Yes. It's just my opinion. I currently see SB as the starting PF taking Siakam's old starting position. If Vezenkov starts they can be interchangeable.

If anyone can get the most out of a former Euro league MVP it's a Euro coach like Darko. He fills a need for the Raptors so I hope he gives it an honest effort. He could be a huge bonus addition.

Could see the Sasha averaging 8 to 10 points while shooting close to 40% from 3. He will replace some of the lost shooting from Gary. Another big that can shoot for the MLE like Highsmith would be amazing offseason😊

Why don’t you mention the minutes he played!!! Stats are only relevant to minutes. If those stats are for 30 mpg it’s very different from 5mpg come on man!!!

You have to understand that Vezenkov is more careful now after the negative experience with mike brown. In the same intreview he says that he was promised one thing and immediatley was presented with another. Although he really enjoyed his team mates and the people in Sacramento, he deffinetely has a chip on his shoulder when it comes to Brown and the promises he made. I hope him and Darko can have a more honest relationship, whichever way ot goes.

He fell out of their rotation cause he can’t guard his position, lots of better players get promises too. You need to actually perform. He was getting decent minutes at the start of the season, idk what he was expecting if the production on the court doesn’t match.

i think they let vezenkov play and boost his value to try to trade him. he plays no defence but it doesnt matter on a rebuilding raptors squad for next 3-4 years. boost his value, trade him and get a pick back for him at deadline or next year.

Why? He is a high IQ player that can shoot the ball. He's not the best defender but he's not a stiff on defense either. He can be a solid system defender. I believe he will be a starter at forward next to Barnes.

@@27Lozc he probably more consistent than nwora and has higher basketball IQ having been euroleague mvp. if you boost his stats you can probably trade vezenkov. nwora at 26, is basically headed for shanghai.

sasha vezenkov is your typical european player. he shoots the 3 but cant guard his own shadow and is a negative defender. considering the raptors have horrible defence, vezenkov will make the raptors defence worse.

I think he is a better defender than you give him credit for being. I have watched some film on him and he's not a standout 1 on 1 defender but he is a very solid team defender and uses his IQ to be in the right guide and help positions on defense.
