We got a local very popular burger spot. Started by a fellow from Newfoundland. He brought his love of stuffing and gravy over fries with him to Nova Scotia. The fish looks excellent… sounded good too :)

You should try Leo’s. The gravy is homemade. If you eat in, they serve the gravy in a tea cup (or at least they used to …. It has been a few years lol). Also, Chafe’s Landing in Petty Harbour is awesome… but parking is worse than St John’s downtown when it’s busy.

You need too try C&E Takeout on the west coast of Newfoundland in Mount Mariah! Only open for 2 months in the summer the fish n chips are unreal but for the love of god be prepared too try the most unreal / best onion rings of your life!!

We are going tonight. Other good places in Newfoundland for fish and chips are Dock Marina in Trinity, The Cod Jigger on Fogo island and Jackie’s Restaurant and Takeout in Rocky Harbour.
