Newish Bike Day, Some Sweet Wiss and a Hard Slam!

Күн бұрынStepping out in front of the camera to show off my newish bike courtesy of Giant's unbelievable no questions asked carbon replacement warranty policy and the tremendous crew at Philadelphia Bikesmith. I also talk a bit about why there's been a bit of a lack of new content on the channel recently, include footage of the nasty slam that set me back a bit, and encounter a ton of hikers and dogs on a beautiful day at the Wiss as I hit the rockiest section in the park! So I'm New to mtb in Northeast Philly area I really only been riding penny packs horse trails cant wait to get check out wiss and belmont when it drys a bit.

There are so many good areas, right outside Philly. Lake Nox, Trexler, Marsh Creek, Harmony, Birdsboro Preserve, French Creek, Coventry Woods...and that is only naming a few :) You will have a good time.

The new whip looks sick Sam. Crazy fall, but glad you are ok. Do the blood thinners effect your riding? Love the boys at Bikesmith, I go to their shop in Narberth. Also, I love how respectful you are to the other users, you are giving us MTBers a good name.

Ha...i thought I recognized your handle from some of their IG posts. I'm following Max in a bunch of my vids. Blood thinners don't really affect me other than I'm trying to take it easy to avoid a fall that would impact my head as that could be really bad and cause internal bleeding. I hope to only have to take them for a couple more weeks, then I can start flinging myself off mountains again lol

I have been enjoying your videos of the awesome local trail (I am in Perkasie). I have been keeping a keen eye on the Trance Advanced PRO 29. I do a lot of xc/enduro/trail riding and want something that will handle it all with a smile. What are your thoughts on the bike?

I've heard nothing but great things about the trance 29er. Travel is a little short for the type of riding I prefer, but I've heard that it punches above it's weight in that regard also. I'm sure it'll be great for local trails

That's not the wiss, it's at Blue mountain bike park in a trail called miles of smiles
