I feel like korean fans dont treat idols like human beings but like actual possessions. So people are not allowed to live their lives now? Fans are allowed to date but their idols are not? Grow some brain.

It's not that they aren't allow to date. But some fans believe in negativity of some GF/BF that their idol want to date and believe it would harm their image, thus voice their opinion loudly. But one of reason that Idol often refused to go public with their Dating, it's because they are TOP stars of their agency, so their agency forbid it. If you have a Date, then your rating would go down. So usually only B-list or C-list or even D-list would show their Dates. A-list are often keep it extremely hidden. Such Allen Ren or Ren Jialun, he's already married and while being proudly call himself a Husband... He keep his family photo 100% buried underground. You won't find any current pictures of Wife or his Son, not even 1. Imagine being married almost 10yrs and not single couple photo of current day were released. That's because he's an A-lister. And yes... while he is successful in his work, his popularity doesn't match those of single ones.

it's so sad how people (netizens, media) always make a big deal over a kpop idol dating. a lot of fans are now growing more mature to see dating as a normal thing. it's these unnecessary drama which are sometimes brought up by their own companies that made it as if dating is a sin. I'm glad that BIGHIT always choose to be silent when it comes to dating rumours. that only shows that they respect the artist's privacy

Well duh. It's so easy. 1. Contact a shaman. 2. Have your sister posses that shaman and then ask her questions through text messages. 3. Through your shaman/sister's urging decide to schedule a press con 4. Choose your ugliest outfit, wear pale foundation, then mess you hair up a bit after putting it on a low ponytail. Afterwards, cover with a cap. 5. Act crazy and mentally unstable as you cry about the injustices you experienced with a certain chairman that you lovingly dubbed as gaessekki ahjussi. 6. Mention how a 16 year old is consoling your 45 sm y/o self because she feels pity listening to you rant to them 7. Manipulate your idol group's fans by saying HYBE will put them in a hiatus (2 month, I think?) FOLLOWING A COMEBACK THEN A WORLD TOUR 7. IDK. I got tired thinking about her antics.

This is simply about ensuring that girls' rights are preserved and not sacrificed to satisfy shareholders. They have the least to do with what happens in management. There are two concrete heads arguing with each other and HYBE had already announced that they want to send them on a long break. As revenge? As punishment? If you were a singer there, you would get a lawyer too, because what do you have to do with it?

Wtf is wrong with people hating Seunghan having an ex and Jimin potentially having a gf? Jimin is nearing 30 for goodness sake, it wouldn't even be a shocker if he wants to get married already. Also, Fifty-fifty at least got worldwide acclaim because of their vocal talent accentuated by good music. People just picked NJ up because they brought the name "BTS's younger sisters" during their debut. Without that, they would only reach the fame of "fresh" debuts of StayC, Young Posse, and Triple S. Now I'm really hoping HYBE lets them go with MHJ, then dissolve ADOR, sending the staff to other subsidiaries under them. That way, they can finally be "free" and MHJ will finally not have a boss like she wants. At that point, we'll see whether MHJ will still want them now that they're not as young anymore, or will the companies she's contacting behind her back (like how she was poached from SM) save her this time and let her make another youthful group as she desires.

Those condemning MHJ are so naive or choose to be ignorant because they are not real fans. Bangman started this BS after NJ's success and MHJ made Hybe money. There isn't an Artist past or present that hasn't been screwed by their Label, Contract, Accountant or Manager. I guess those supporting Hybe have no knowledge of how Evil most Labels are. They sign Artists young especially to take advantage of their innocence. That's why so many Artists change Labels as they grow and learn more about the contract they signed. BTS made Bangman and Hybe Execs more money than they received themselves because BTS were paid peanuts. Hybe has always been corrupt and now we know Bangman is also a petty egotistical bully like his fans.

@@mata-jh9hi I don't know how much money they used to make BTS when they started what I know is that now are shareholders of HYBE with 0.16% plus extra shares in Big Hit which is the only independent company in HYBE! They are multimillionaires and also one of the biggest pop bands (not just kpop) in the world! BTS was given the freedom to create their own content since the begining of their career!Of course they had many hardships mostly bcz of the arrogant environment of the korean entertainment business! As for BSH and MHJ management styles is two complete universes! On one side we have BSH a shrewd bussinessman who knows that respecting his artists and let them free to evolve is the best way to gain good reputation and money and on the other side we have MHJ with totalitarian , degrading and manipulative style who humiliates her underaged artists by spiting derogatory words against them behind their back! The first always mentions that without his artists ,BTS, HYBE wouldn't exist and the second without HER NJ& ADOR wouldn't exist! I am sure BSH isn't an innocent angelic person but no bussinessman is angelic bcz u have to take hard decisions that make look cruel ! BSH worked hard , took a lot of risk and nothing was given free to him!What are the risks and hard work of MHJ ? Freeloading and copying? She didn't even put a penny of her money in ADOR even NJ were trainees of Source Music!Since when is hard work copying from other artists everything (NJ's image, music and even their name)! What it is so great about this woman that some of you are ready to fall into a fiery pit for her?? In general there needs to be some big changes to the way contracts are structured in Kpop. The Artists and Idols deserve better treatment and more compensation for their work. Most of these agencies are clearly corrupt and manipulative.

I don’t really get into 5th gen groups but Riize makes me sad. I always see something about their group in a negative way. People who think idols shouldn’t date for whatever reason especially when they’re in their early 30’s are the same people who are either children or a loser. It took BTS more than 7 years to help build Bighit and Hybe into what it is today. NJ is barely 1 year old. Why MNJ has to drag these poor girls into her own mess? She should have set aside their personal relationship and not emotionally blackmail them. Why did she have to involve these young promising talented girls? They are so young to be placed in such compromising situation. What will happen to them if Hybe succeeds in ousting MNJ as CEO of Ador?

@@ro-zeea.8734 Yeah I tend to agree. Been a Kpop fan since second generation. But really got deep into Kpop music early third generation. Still, it seems like the business model of Kpop has gotten more corrupted over time as the agencies have become larger and more increasingly powerful. Worldwide, most artists make their money along with their companies and agencies. Kpop seems very different… Hybe management has made a HUGE mistake and miscalculation by wanting to be seen globally because they also open themselves up to artists pushing back and fighting for their rights. Which makes me happy. Hybe’s greed and manipulation will be their downfall.

He is not on hiatus due to that dating scandal. He is on hiatus due to the scandals that followed afterwards. That blackmailer was threatening to expose more of his "not so idol like" behavior if SM didn't drop him. While i don't agree with Seunghan being permanently taken out of riize, who knows what that person had on Seunghan? This is Korea we are talking about, if the scandal was big enough, it could destroy the other members careers as well. So, while i want Seunghan back, i can understand why the company did what they did. They had to do immediate damage control, this is conservative Korea we are talking about.

Idk why but Chiquita is probably my bias despite loving all the baby monster girls and seeing how talented they are. They are such great dancers, love their raps and the vocals are amazing. My eyes just are drawn to Chiquita for some reason. She just has this captivating presence in their music videos. She seems so confident and sassy, I just think she’s adorable and fits the groups concept so well by being the youngest and having a fierce attitude while performing

Nope. MHJ will be removed regardless. All Hybe has to do is replace Ador's BOG, which they have the right to do. Then, the new BOG will remove her from the CEO position. Regardless, MHJ is toast. MHJ has such a big ego that she won't take any position less than the CEO, so she will end up leaving one way or another. Good riddance.

See how much struggle they have to do for everything. Wonyoung is known as a 4th Gen IT girl but she don't brand like Gucci,dior, Celine etc like NJ easily get. About the Jimin scandal from what I heard it's not an actress just an influencer.. she keeps denying she is dating Jimin yet keeps posting pics that suggest she is, this is what people are pissed off about it.. she don't just keep posting pics like couple sets and her wearing BTS tee... she also posts pics of her eating and being in a room that looks just like Jimin's living room from what has been shown in BTS content.. People are angered that she keeps trying to get clout out of Jimin irrespective of if they are dating.. she fans the flames and then acts naive..

@@kookiesadu4110siding with min heejin is a bad decision, it will turn Hybe against new jeans because Hybe wants to kick out Min heejin and so does the board of directors, going against a big 4 company will get you blackballed from the industry, if kicked out of Hybe, new jeans won’t have the same promotion they are getting and without the connections and resources the big 4 offer, you will start from the bottom again. No investor wants to work with min heejin after knowing she gave insider trading secrets which is by the way, illegal in some countries as it’s an unethical business practice. On top of that, no one wants to work with someone who broke the non compete clause, lots of companies have that clause to prevent competition/betrayal forming in the companies grounds.

I feel very bad for Goo Hye Sun, she was wonderful in Boys Over Flowers and helped popularized K-dramas around the world with her acting in that role and others. She married the wrong guy for her and that led to her psychological, career, and financial downfall. I'm not blaming him. I'm just saying they did not match and that often leads to negative results. He has survived the scandal of their divorce, but she has not. And it saddens me. I hope she gets back to acting. It was clarified that they didn’t hire a lawyer to sue or anything, they just got the lawyer to submit their petition letter for them. So this isn’t a Fifty Fifty situation. I’m sure if BTS were put in this situation when they were teens they would have stood by BSH too cos that’s who they’re closer to. They’re literally kids having to pick between their “mom and dad”

Fifty fifty’s situation is different from new jeans situation, fifty fifty wasnt siding with CEOs, they weren’t getting the money they deserved so they wanted out of the company whereas new jeans is given resources, Hybe’s connections, the promotion you could only get under a company from the big 4, etc. Yet they chose to side with someone who doesn’t even like them and is going to suffer from 2 legal battles,MH is already going against Hybe’s legal team which is very strong as they have won against the biggest/ most powerful company in entertainment (kakao) and now MH is also getting sued by ILLIT’s company, even if MH only looses on one of these legal battles, she will be financially hurt and will have to start from the bottom. Without investors, it would be hard to promote new jeans if they decide to break the contract with Hybe and go with her. Also breaking a contract early has penalty’s so new jeans should’ve stayed neutral or sided with nobody, just leave it up to the court to make decisions

I don’t necessarily agree, I am extremely happy to see New Jeans and other artists standing up for themselves and their rights. Kpop management has been wrong for years now. And with the popularity of Kpop music and artists growing around the world, more and more artists are going to start pushing back against these labels and corrupt agencies.

Hybe has been spreading misinformation and propaganda about this whole situation, This reminds me of what happened to Fifty Fifty except that Fifty Fifty was even more inexperienced and they didn’t have anyone to help and advise them. Clearly the girls in BOTH groups have been mistreated and taken advantage of by adults from their agencies who have tons of resources and experienced lawyers and executives who are willing to spend lies and misinformation … this whole situation is frustrating and pathetic. In both cases the girls are innocent.

Can I be honest as an American that is starting to see K- Pop popularity in the USA. I honestly dont think Korea is ready for international fame. I think K-POP does best in East Asia where the cultural similarities are present. Koreans get upset with international fans and state we dont respect the culture but they expect ADULT HETEROSEXUAL MEN not to be in a relationship or get caught in a relationship is just ABSURD and kinda weird. They act like they own these IDOLS. In the USA, when our IDOLS get in a relationship, we cheer for them. If they get in a drug scandal, we honestly root for them to do better and hope they make a comeback. We really support our IDOLS. In Korea, They have skin preferences, which is fine but they say borderline if not outright racist things to fans or post it on their chats. Like who the heck is their social media managers? I get fair skin is a big deal in Korea but its not the preference globally with tan skin/honey skin being the preference in the West( this is a fact too and proven) . I was disgusted about the comments made about KAI by his own group members and what is crazy, he is the best looking one. The others look like vampires on ozempic. IDK I just think that they should do better prep before going global.

I am surprised about Go Hye Sun living situation because she basically blackmailed Ahn Jae Hyun into giving her money for her to agree to go through the divorce proceedings. In I live alone, he talked about being frugal because he spent a lot in luxury items, but I don't think that's the real reason. I think it's because the divorce really left him dry. I remember when, in the second season of NJTTW, the cast goes to his apartment, and he said he owned it thanks to his modeling and acting career. Who knows? Maybe it was just paying lawyers that left them in such a bad way, or maybe they did spend all their money recklessly. Either way, my instinct tells me not to trust what she says, but it is sad.

To pri skupini New Jeans ni opaziti, delujejo nesproščeno in umetno kot, da so roboti, nič pri njih ni naravno. Ta skupina je nezrela in globoko tonejo v brezno, kjer ne bo rešitve za njih. Good luck!!! I’ve only been following BTS for 3 yrs now and don’t consider my self an ARMY yet, and even now I will never say that I don’t trust HYBE. BTS made HYBE and that I do believe because it is very well documented. But if HYBE made such a success why not go further and conquer new things and give BTS the opportunity to be more themselves and relax a little bit. MHJ is a leech trying to suck HYBE dry. NEW JEANS is too new to be involved in this kind of situation and unfortunately is going to leave a bad taste.

You got it wrong. It’s up to MHJ to prove that there is a justifiable reason to stop HYBE from using their majority shareholder rights to vote her out. This is not a case of NJ being abused and wanting to escape their agency, but of their current boss lying, cheating and stealing and needing to be fired and them not wanting to continue forward without her at the company. COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. You come across incredibly naive and ill-informed when you report things without truly understanding what’s going on.

There is no "neutral" in this. Hybe is after MHJ's scalp (for whatever reasons) and they're apparently willing to make NJ collateral damage if that's what it takes to get her. They're willing to sling whatever they can at MHJ hoping something sticks and all the allegations have to be formally investigated and answered, taking time and money to do so. As NJ have a seperate legal identity from MHJ, they'd be nuts not to have a lawyer advising them what the moves against MHJ mean to them as a group apart from MHJ and also to see if Hybe is violating their contracts with the members. The intelligent thing to do (which won't happen) would be for Hybe to negoiate MHJ/NJ's separation from Hybe. The longer this goes on, it not only wastes time and money (Klawyers aren't cheap) but damages Hybe's reputation. Rightly or wrongly, they've poisoned their reputation with a significant chunk of Kfans and they'd be better off just writing off the whole mess and letting everyone move on. I still can't help but feel a large part of the ongoing mess is Hybe's ego and the unwillingness to acknowledge any missteps on their part. I mean, for heaven's sake, Korea is a very formal society and not even acknowledging someone repeatedly with at least the nod of the head is known to be a major snub. Hybe is showing blatant favortism (and lousy PR/management skills) and New Jeans (rightly or wrongly) senses they are screwed under Hybe now. I support any and all efforts to get them out of this toxic agency and give them the chance to reach their full potential, because they're sure not going to reach it under Hybe...

If HYBE proves Minhejin committed breach of trust like they accuse of her then by the law HYBE can buy her share of the stock of Adore back and kick her out of company, the stock which counts for 20% of Adore for $2.6mil or so. Right now her stock is worth over 80mil. This is why they are trying to accuse her of the charges they filed against her. Just about whole Korea knows this.
