the Fire Bible.. is pretty much the exact replica of the FULL LIFE bible.. that was originally released around 1992... the page lay out is the same.. the Life in the Spirit.. bible is the next generation of the Full LIFE bible.. yet though the notes are the same .. the page layout has totally changed.. I did not care for that version (2nd generation) of the FULL LIFE because of the page layout... yet the text notes are the same.. but I found it more difficult to follow.. the FIRE bible (third generation of the FULL LIFE bible).. returned to the same page layout as the original FULL LIFE.. and at the price .. the FIRE bible is a great bible for the money.. I would recommend it... when I was able to buy them new in leather from a seller on ebay a couple years back I bought 4 of them and gave them out to fellow believers...now they are a little bit more...pricey.......fyi... the FULL LIFE when it was a available.. was made with a higher grade of leather....but I did not buy the original FULL LIFE bible new for .as low of price...my advice. to bible hunters.. vy the vivle you want before they get scarce!

@@jessicakenny655 for me..., Yes .. and here's why...... When I first purchased this bible it was called "The Full Life ".. bible around 1998... I believe it was completed in 1991.... but since 1998 it has undergone some name changes...from Full LIfe ....to Life In The Spirit.. then to ... the Fire Bible... Honestly they are all the same Bible... but.. why I prefer the Fire Bible.. is only for Cosmetic reasons.. the Fire Bible.. went back to the original layout of the commentary notes from the Full Life. Bible..... all 3 have the same notes.. yet the Life In The Spirit.. .. seems to have done something a little different in the way the notes are layed out...If you have the Life In the Spirit bible by all means enjoy it .. appreciate it.. it is a Great bible in my opinion... I was able to pick.. up several Fire Bibles off ebay about 4 years back in Black Genuine Leather.. for about 25.00 each.. a phenomenal price..!..that is when I saw that with the Fire Bible they went back to how the Full Life notes were.. and my partiality to it is only because I had used the Full Life for quite a while.. then about 6 years after I bought my Full LIfe,.Bible . I tried to find some more to give out to friends.. but they were scarcer than hens teeth... that is when I bought my Life In The Spirit Bible.. my only disappointment was.... when I bought it....I was hoping it would be exactly like the Full Life Bible was laid out... my disappointment was Not at all with the Bible itself.. I still love it... ...I suppose that is one reason I am partial.. to the Fire Bible...If you can get any of those though.. You will Not be displeased...as compared to other Pentecostal bibles out there.. I rank these as the Best.. in my opinion...

@@jessicakenny655 Dake is a good Bible as well.. yet a lot of people do Not care for it.. for some obvious reasons.. for 1 .. the lay out.. until you get used to it....it is very hard to follow.. Dake is big on lists.. when writing on a topic.. so.. one going thru the bible may have to go to various pages to get his full thoughts on the topic.. also.. from what I have heard.. He is very racist.. He grew up in a different time.. raised differently.. and sometimes.. though I have Not seen this.. only heard about it.. some of his comments may be tinged with a racial... bias... not sure... and lastly.. He is a big proponent of the Gap theory which is a belief.. in a creation before this creation... a creation.. that was first done,, in Gen 1:1.. where God created the Earth and all the dinosaurs.. and creatures.. millions.. and Billions of years ago... then at some point.. destroyed.. all this and began His second creation with mankind and life as we know it in verse 2.... also I do not think ...he thinks 1 day equals just one day... but many many years in between each day.... if you are ok with all of the above... you may ne ok with a Dakes bible..

I have both.. I can tell you the inside.. looks identical.. but the FULL LIFE used better quality leather.. I don t think the FULL LIFE is NOT very easy to find nowadays in the genuine leather kjv version.. however

well for Pentecostals I myself would recommend the Full Life study aka the Fire Bible.. I did not know Thompsons was a Pentecostal bible.. hmmm..

you may wish to buy the FIRE BIBLE instead...it is the same bible as the Life in the Spirit.. yet the format returns to the format of the FULL LIFE bible.. the (1st generation.). I believe it is easier to follow the study notes..

if you don t mind toting. a big bible around.. the print in the LARGE PRINT edition is very readable.. but the bible huge.. about 11" by 8" and weighs about 5 lbs...about 2800 pages or better.. counting all the end references. etc..

I know what you mean.. In my case I myself was raised as a Catholic.. and other than what I was taught in parochial school .I never read the bible.. for one thing ....when I was young.. all masses were done in Latin.. and who understands that?.. my parents never owned a bible.. when I was 10 I purchased our family bible with S&H green stamps I had been saving for 2 years.. I tried to read it but at 10 years old.. how much could I understand.? I stopped at half way thru Genesis.. as a teen in public school..I just quit going to church.. what was the point?.. I asked myself. ....I mean .... .mass was always the same repetition.. and no bibles in the church.. there was no encouragement to read God s word.. ..well, 24 years passed .. a life of sorrow and heartache.. .I started cursing God when anything bad happened in my life.. then one day I stepped into a bible believing church.. everyone had a bible in their lap.. and I knew I was home!.. The "distinctive doctrine" of the Pentecostal movement is that the baptism with the Holy Ghost will be accompanied by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance as the initial physical evidence thereof. Apostolic Pentecostalism views the baptism with the Holy Ghost as being concomitant with the baptism by the Spirit in the new birth experience in being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, while Protestant Fundamentalist and Evangelical Pentecostalism views the baptism with the Holy Ghost as being distinct and distinguishable from and subsequent to the new birth experience, these baptizing people in the Trinitarian rite of speaking "in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Ghost" instead of speaking "in the name of Jesus Christ" as did the apostles in response to Jesus' command in making disciples. While Apostolic Pentecostals do admit that one can be baptized with the Holy Ghost before being born again of water and the Spirit, they believe that one has not been born again unless they have also been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, with Protestant Pentecostals generally holding that the new birth experience does not include either baptism with water or baptism with the Holy Ghost as part thereof.
