Those are both huge study Bibles, and I'm ok with that. I really like the full color setup of that NKJV study Bible. I have the Holman full color KJV study Bible and the KJV full color study Bible by Nelson. Absolutely love both of mine, and cannot go wrong with either. I am also impressed by the new leather soft Bible covers. Thank you for another nice comparison video!

The HCSB study Bible is another great one. It also is illustrated, similar to these. The notes and articles are excellent, from what I have seen so far.

I know that I have personally had several differences about some of the stuff that I didn't agree with.that being said I have to give credit where it is due.He didn't call it (the ESV) corrupt unlike some on the KJV side.So thank you for a straight forward video analysis.🤗🤗

The NKJV is a bit more easy read thand the ESV. I really like the way the Study Bible is put together and illustrated. Very well done. You are correct, each is a different set of tools for study. As an easy read of the Bible, the NIV is the best.

Thanks Pastor Steve for this video.I remember in one of the videos what you said that you are KJV preferred and not KJV only.There are some who may criticize you for that position.I appreciate your videos very much and this comparison is really great.I prefer the KJV and the NKJV even though the ESV is the most popular translation I am disappointed with the omission of 1 John 5:7 and Mark 16:9-20 and John 7:53-John ,8:11 are in brackets.

I enjoy all your videos on these Bible translations. At the end of last year God led to The Bible Society In Israel here online (well I believe He did because I have read the Bible more this year than I ever have in my life) I found them through google and I got very interested in Bible translations. I was raised on the KJV. I bought the ESV Study Bible last Friday and it is the personal size, cloth cover board, tan. Mine didn't come with a dust jacket but it came in a box sleeve. The Bible Society In Israel located in Jerusalem uses the NASB on their devotions on their website and the ESV for their Facebook and Instagram posts. But they do have the NASB/KJV parallel option on their online Bible. God’s word was here before 1611 in other English translations so I do not judge you in reviewing or comparing the Bibles.

Pastor Steve, can you give more info on the NKJV Bible here ? Like a product number or something to identify it. I want to look into purchasing it for my personal use. And thanks for comparing these !!

2 Persons here: “And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying: “Blessing and honor and glory and power Be to Him who sits on the throne, And to the Lamb, forever and ever!”” Revelation 5:13

New Life Of Albany Ga. those verses don’t prove anything. Notice this verse. There are 3 divine persons distinct from each other. ““Come near to Me, hear this: I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, I was there. And now the Lord GOD and His Spirit Have sent Me.”” Isaiah 48:16

Me, too. It's much easier to read, no question about it. A single column is just a wall of text which is not very inviting, and not conducive to reading or finishing what one is reading. Bible readers typically are juggling a number of different concepts and reading habits and objectives, all at the same time. Single column text just does not permit such complexity in reading, or, at least, makes it much more difficult.

Yes
@tabletalk335 ай бұрын
Yes, it does. I have one, and, honestly, it's my favorite Bible (and I have a number of them). It's beautifully designed, aesthetically pleasing, has the best Bible paper I've ever seen, makes great use of color coding, color photographs, has double column text, and has a number of very helpful features that make it a great Bible for BOTH devotional and scholarly use. The latter is not something that you can say about most study Bibles. You can check Christian Book for the features and prices.

The NKJV follows the TR text in all places where the KJV departed from it.

And exactly where did you get your degree in Hebrew in Latin? And let's kick in Aramaic to while we're at it?? If you don't have any in those language's.I would be the first to tell you.If you don't like the ESV DON'T BUY ONE....✝️✝️

To much internet there slick.🤗🤗🤔
@brendakauffman22224 жыл бұрын
@@johnnyhutto4281 I appreciate Pastor Waldron's Bible Reviews. He is fair and honest & the Spirit always shines through. One doesn't have to have degrees in Hebrew, Latin or Aramaic to do a good Bible review. You don't even have to be fluent in those to use good study material to dig into the original text ( though of course it's helpful). I got an ESV study Bible, more for the notes then anything, and they are very helpful.

@Curt Christensen Explain this please.... Luke 2:33 American Standard Version (ASV) 33 And his father and his mother were marvelling at the things which were spoken concerning him; .... Jesus wasn't the Son of God??????
@davemaxwell72625 жыл бұрын
@Curt Christensen Pathetic answer. Next..... John 7:8 (ASV) Go ye up unto the feast: I go not up unto this feast; because my time is not yet fulfilled. John 7:10 (ASV) But when his brethren were gone up unto the feast, then went he also up, not publicly, but as it were in secret. .... Jesus was a liar??????
