Your doll head monologue made me laugh and I agree with you wholeheartedly, they’re very creepy. But I don’t mind that note in Hypnotic Poison. Probably would if it outstayed it’s welcome. Hadn’t heard of Maison Tahité but both of those scents sound like they’re right up my alley. Thanks for mentioning them 🤗 💕

Love carnal cacao from Maison Tahite. It’s such a good white floral and cacao fragrance- have been wearing it to work a lot lately. So good!

You crack me up! Ok so I’m glad you did Celeste !! I was looking for videos on it and there were barely any! And then it hit me idea 💡 I noticed a couple of things about the community on here vs TikTok! So I noticed on KZfaq..there were barely any reviews but TikTok ? Tons saying how ethereal it is etc!? And i figured out… KZfaq reviewers? If they don’t have something nice to say? They rarely say it or you won’t see a single review video on something they didn’t love! Or the scent will be, within another video, hence not seeing many videos on that perfume reviews alone! But the stuff on TikTok is super attached to TikTok shop! So can’t be trusted !! So that is what I learned! Ha but I’m glad you’re HONEST and real! I feel like I can trust you! Yay but a bit sad Celeste probably not Great Darn it! Ha sooo many on TikTok lie 😢

I agree about Celeste! I do not like the sour lime or strong synthetic smell. It is not for me. But I feel the same about Bianco Latte. I just don’t get along with this brand. Now Mallow on the other hand, perfection! For those who want a good violet smell that isn’t sweet try Violet Shot by Olfactive Studio. It has a beautiful green note.

I absolutely love watching your videos Maria. Keep em coming. I am pretty new to fragrances and am finding it hard to know the different notes. Have you considered doing a video on a perfumes that are dominated by a note so the we can relate to it. Say the perfume with a dominant amber note one with dominant pertuli one with dominant almond etc. I’m guessing this is very basic but would find it so helpful. Best wishes from Perth Australia

I went to buy Borabora two days ago, but I came back with Celeste. I sprayed Celeste on one hand and Borabora on other: after a hit of tropical freshness I just kept smelling the over ripe fruit from Borabora. On the other hand Celeste settled and left a truly heavenly scent on me - if you told me that heaven smells like that I would believe you. I get elegant powdery violet, elevated and calm and I get color light blue from this scent. Wore it in high temperatures today and although it develops close to skin, I got whiffs all day. I haven’t felt this strong about a perfume for a while 😊

Caprice de Jeanne sounds interesting. I love doll head smells... Your description is hilarious though. 😂 I got Celeste not long ago. Originally it felt like a fresher Insolence to me. I'll have to see what it does in warmer weather (at 20-25°C).

Between Mallow and Celeste, Im team Celeste, but both are delish so Im glad at least one works for you 😊. Have you tried Gossip Night from Gritti? Such a yumny peach! I prefer it to Bon Bon Pop which I find a bit sharp 🤷🏽‍♀️

I thought I was the only one that got Play Doh vibes from Celeste. I tried spraying my clothes before putting them on but I still get Play Doh. Layering with Cheirosa 59 helped a little but when that faded, the “doll head” smell came through.

Completely off topic, but I love your hair. I let my hair go natural during the pandemic but I'm having the worst time with frizziness . Is your hair naturally sleek or do you use products to tamp down the frizz? I gotta know. I also live in humid Florida so that doesn't help. Any pointers would be appreciated ❤

Thanks so much! Part of it is the camera because it kind of blurs out the background so some of my frizz is missing. I would suggest talking to a hairdresser but a lot of times Products can help with that currently I use very moisturizing hair shampoo and conditioner and then I use a leave in conditioner as well sometimes a light oil can really help with frizz as well. I do have a link to my Amazon store in the description box and I believe it has a lot of my hair products in there that you can take a look at and see what you think.

Maria, if possible get your nose onto a sample of Soleil de Jeddah-Mango Kiss (Stéphane Humbert Lucas), or better yet, its more affordable dupe, DUA's Sun of Jeddah: Mango Passion. I haven't smelled the OG from SHL, but have a large sample of the DUA and it is so addictive! I know that Ajayeb Dubai Portrait is said to be a close dupe of the SHL one, but they actually have some different notes. And if Ajayeb goes too woody on your skin, then you might love the DUA (or OG), because those ones don't have a woody base at all, just juicy, sweet but slightly green/earthy, tropical mango goodness. P.S. I actually am one of those who loves the doll head/playdoh note in perfumes 🙂

Have you tried Mancera Amore Caffè? No Oud or Patch but coffee & vanilla (with an Amaretto top note… which hangs around for a while)

My face is doing way better. Still has some tingles. Some days are worse than others But significantly better!!
