These guys are trying to keep music making "real". Digital Recording can Crush the character, inspiration and feel of your music, if you let it. If the Name of a band causes you to decide whether you listen to their music, then pop music is your thing. Maybe that's the point of Chevelle's name. If you write great songs, who cares what the name of your band is.

I don't believe in any after life. I don't see how I'll be alive without my brain. But I like Pete's answer that it's when you're no longer longing for anything. Because you know it doesn't feel good to long.

I agree w/whatvthese guys are saying. So much music is overproduced. Sometimes the mistakes are what makes a tune great. Dont sand off all the rough edges. That’s boring.
