Area companies assisting Newport on a building fire. The plus of this clip is the capture of Mill Creek 21-3,which has not been in frontline service in many years since the Rescue Pumpers were purchased.

The Pierce apparatus running as Squrt 30 in this video has since been replaced by a new Pierce. But Squrt 21’s rig is still the same old vintage Seagrave. Gotta love that vintage Detroit 2-stroke Diesel. The 2-stroke met its demise in 1995 when emissions standards and fuel economy standards eventually spelled its demise in the summer of 1995.

This call was coded as a high priority,that's why companies not usually on this box were present. It threw me off during the tone sequence at dispatch.

The Green one is more practical than the black one. Don't get me wrong,the black over red one is beautiful but,it's too big of a vehicle for optimum positioning. And it's Squrts not Squirts when describing the fire apparatus.

So before Christmas this year 2018. Ladder 12 will be replaced by an Aerialscope. I see Station 6 is set to receive a new Engine as well. It will be a twin to Engine 12.

What a minute! Across from the apartment complex! There is a fire station! They could have come out to respond instead of calling mutual aide departments! Something was not right!

Depends on the area. Some use Rescue in the Ambulance role and others use Rescue as firefighters who enter into buildings to locate people who trapped in fires, or have heavy rescue equipment for specialized rescues like building collapses or other such events.

jtoatoktoe ok cause the one we have in my town (goreville Illinois) is a first responder they go to ambulance calls and help the people before the EMTs get on scene and help with lift assist.
