The reference to Kessell could also be the Ghost crew from rebels saving the Wookies being held captive on Kessell.

Which IMO is more likely since Solo's visit to Kessel was 5 years earlier. The incident with the Ghost would've been more recent.

@@colbyallfrey2589 not sure on that, since Andor Season 1 takes place in 5 BBY, and so does season 1 of Rebels, up till the Empire Day episode, which immediately takes place in 4 BBY, which is also during the first 3 seasons of Andor. They're definitely concurrent events

I think that planet is just Coruscant, especially because they mention Hosnian Prime as a separate location later

I found it curious that the cereal Syril holds and stares at has masses of brown and blue, almost like mini planets of earth and water. As if giving a visual for Syril contemplating his world.

Another rogue one detail. I love how cassian’s says “don’t touch me” but is constantly touching or being touched by jyn in rogue one. Excited to see how his character evolves to what we know in rogue one.

That Polaroid camera wasn’t the only 1970s artifact in this episode. That boxy little appliance on the shelf behind Cyril during the breakfast scene was a circa 1970s Oster juicer. I have an identical one inherited from my grandmother. Still works!

I saw battleship grey prototype SX-70s in the pits at the Daytona, 1970. They created quite a stir. Roger Penske Mercedes Benz engineer/observer types A few celebrities... Retired camera repairman, age 73, here. I still have a near SX-70 buried in my basement storage. With photo junk... No film for it, anymore A news magazine of the time had Fidel Castro holding one while looking at the portrait it just took, a big grin on his mug, mitt cigar... With an African president of some kind.... No Russian camera, that! American! J.C. Once Tech Editor, FLA Racing News, Miami....thru early1973. The 1973 Arab oil killed my paper. Stopped Andy G's STP Indy Car Team Our best advertiser and FRIEND/MENTOR... Even Andretti had to find sponsorships I took up cameras... Cycling Forza Ferrari!

I'm pretty sure the Corpo blaster that Skeen is examining at the beginning of the episode isn't the one from the drunk security guard in E01 but is Syril Karn's weapon from when Cassian caught him off guard during the Ferrix escape in E03. Like with most cops who lose their service weapon to a perp, this bothers Karn greatly amplifying his obsession to catch Andor.

When Syril is going through the space port, the departure announcement is for a flight TO Hosnian Prime. You wouldn't be leaving FROM Hosnian Prime TO Hosnian Prime. I'm pretty sure he's on Coruscant.

The Giant Jedi and Sith Holocrons could be decorations from the Jedi temple. There would have been tons of decorations thrown out to clear space that would end up collectibles. That is the way of takeovers. These kind of decorations might have been training tools lab descriptions. (Visit and school or University)

I think I spotted a Mexica (Aztec) artifact in minute 16:07 bottom right. The Double-headed serpent is an Aztec sculpture. It is a snake with two heads composed of mostly turquoise pieces applied to a wooden base. It came from Aztec Mexico and might have been worn or displayed in religious ceremonies.[1] The mosaic is made of pieces of turquoise, spiny oyster shell and conch shell.[2] The sculpture is at the British Museum

I'm 90% sure the sheep are actually Hebridean Sheep, a more obscure breed of Scottish sheep that also can have 4-6 horns. Jacob sheep are always spotted. It's possible they don't even have prosthetic horns, since they can naturally have as many as 6. If they don't have prosthetic horns, I think that would make them the first completely unmodified earth animal to appear in Star Wars.

Andor: the only starwars that wont give you epileptic fits by prolonged . Of laser tag. I like it though I hope it's a multi-season effort maybe they can cross intermingle some of the other series into it in and out sort of like DNA especially the mandalorian. I'm sincere in this too it's very mellow it's great tone love the character work it digs deeper in the intriguing allows a person to get engrossed in a true series. And eventually hopefully we start getting 2 hours a week to make it more like a movie night event. Leave us the viewer satisfied completely and whole.🧐⚔️🏴‍☠️😏

Im loving this series. Even though was a bit weaker episode but still very cool. I like the details. And I have a feeling that it was just a peace before storm. Next week we’re gonna see lot of Boooms looking for this. Not to be divisive but it seems like most of the fans of Andor are OT trilogy fans (such as myself) and most (if not all ) sequel trilogy fans don’t like it. Prequel fans seem to fall somewhere in the middle.

I just think it could use a good dose of pacing. It lags. Great character study but devoid of adventure and action. It needn’t be big battles but a sense of urgency.

Good. Those sequel loving dogs don't deserve to experience good writing and good character development. We're better off without the sequel fans. They can go ahead and watch their trashy trilogy for all I care. Prequel fans are more than welcome to watch Andor.
